I recently had the pleasure of dining at Applebee's Grill + Bar in Fargo, North Dakota, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere.
First and foremost, the food at Applebee's was outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic American dishes to unique twists on familiar favorites. I opted for the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. The menu also includes a range of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
The service at Applebee's was top-notch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was served promptly and came out hot and fresh. The staff members were friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming and relaxed dining experience.
The ambiance of Applebee's is another standout feature. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you are dining with friends, family, or colleagues, the relaxed and inviting ambiance makes for a pleasant and enjoyable meal.
One aspect that sets Applebee's apart is their commitment to accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences. The menu clearly indicates vegetarian, gluten-free, and healthier options, making it easy for individuals with specific dietary needs to find suitable choices. This attention to detail is much appreciated and adds to the overall positive dining experience.
In terms of value for money, Applebee's delivers. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food, and there are often special deals and promotions available. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, Applebee's offers a great dining experience at an affordable price.
Overall, I highly recommend Applebee's Grill + Bar in Fargo. The delicious food, excellent service, welcoming ambiance, and accommodating menu options make it a standout choice for dining out. Whether you're craving a classic American dish or want to try something new, Applebee's is sure to satisfy...
Read moreWe used to be regular customers here, but unfortunately haven't been able to eat here since they added fried breaded shrimp, because they don't cook them in separate fryers and there's a serious shellfish allergy in our family. We want others to enjoy shrimp for sure, but that can be done while also protecting their customers with allergies. What we love on their menu is their fried foods, including breaded chicken & fries, so we've had to change our regular restaurant to a new place more sensitive to those with allergies. I hope that someday policies are put in place to protect people with allergies, but unfortunately they've so far been rather lazy in protecting their customers. Having worked for years in the food industry, I know that a restaurant this successful has the ability to separate their shellfish fryer from everything else, but they choose not to, which has lost them our business and their five star rating from us.
I posted a picture of the "Response from the Owner". This is me responding to it: The date and time is obviously any time we go. The location is The Applebee's on 2001 16th St N, Fargo, ND 58102, which is where this review has been placed. And unless I'm being told that you're once again protecting customers from serious allergies by separating shellfish from the rest of your food and cooking stations, I don't want to waste time with calls. Thank you for caring enough to respond tho.

The restaurant wasn't busy but it took us 10 minutes to get seated since their was no hostess or anyone checking on the entrance way. Once we got seated, we both order drinks (margarita's), our server never asked if we wanted it blended or on the rocks, which I understand that some bartenders don't like to blend drinks because they take forever and you have to clean the blender, at least ask though. We order our food it took 36 minutes to get to our table. I got pasta with chicken and my boyfriend got a chicken sandwich. Our food was warm, not hot. My breadstick came out after I finish my plate (I am not a fast eater). I got home that night and was not feeling the best, I ended up getting food poisoning from the meal which was the only thing I ate that night and my boyfriend also got food poisoning. The service was bad, we got sick from the food. I would not recommend going to...
