The only good news, our Drinks were made correctly; The bad news, our customer experience was not great.
Someone, who just walked in, not in any sort of uniform, didn’t introduce themselves, told us to leave under the premise of, “health concerns.” They were rude, and conveyed a perturbed tone. My partner and I were holding — in our hands — our brand new baby puppies, while waiting for our to go order, 2 beverages and a pastry to be prepared. When I explained this to the hound woman, she told us to wait outside and someone would bring us our order.
While this exchange was happening, there was another customer who came in, with a full sized springer spaniel, on a leash. This customer was allowed to not only place an order for her self, but also a whip cream cup for her dog. Moreover, this woman who I can only assume worked for the cafe, allowed this other customer to wait inside the cafe for the complete order and did not request that she and her dog wait outside.
This blatant act of discrimination needed to be noted. Why were myself and my partner — two gay men— who were respectfully holding our quite, and behaved 8 and 10 week old puppies asked to leave and wait for our order outside?
All the while the next customer was able to let their — also well behaved — full grown dog run around within the limits of its leash, and wait inside the cafe for her order…
First, all customers should be treated equally! Second, as a former Cafe Manager, I can tell you we posed no health concern, and I have asked the health inspector. Third, the customer service was terribly unprofessional. There is a certain decorum a manager or employee should...
Read moreEveryday I wake up in my apartment which is kept at a cool 50 degrees and begin my preparations for the day ahead. I roll out of my bed and feed my poor, cold companion Grimlock Heedmartin who is basically a small man in an ill fitted dog suit. After I stare into his koala like eyes and will with all my might some thoughts into that smooth brain of his I remember I need coffee for I too am just a smooth brained creature until coffee is had.
But not just any coffee. I need PJ'S coffee. More specifically I need a large americano with steamed heavy cream. And who is there to greet me most mornings before I can articulate anything beyond some primordial grunts which were last uttered by my ancestors as they left the saftey of the fire in their caves?
Justice.
Most everyday Justice says "Hello Tom!" and then begins crafting the only thing that stands between me and world domination. My perfectly crafted large Americano with steamed heavy cream.
Each day I am joyfully asked if I'd like to use my points and I say "not today, I'm saving it for when I have no money." And since painting season is here that will be very very soon as clientele begins to wash up in favor of spending money of gifts and trips instead of permanently altering their flesh-meat with black ink I scrawl into their dermis; Spicy scrimshaw if it pleases you.
Everyone that works here is excellent, attentive, lovely and if you don't agree then I suggest examining your life choices and seeing what faults brought you to this wrong assessment.
In conclusion, everyone here is perfect and the coffee keeps me sane.
Also the egg bites...
Read moreI came here around 1140ish on 4/14/2024 to try something different other than Starbucks. The cashier was over it 100%. She did not acknowledge me when I walked up to her. When I asked her how she was doing, she didn't respond to me. There was an awkward moment when I didn't know when to start ordering because she didn't say anything, and she also didn't make eye contact. You could tell she was either tired or didn't want to be there...(I think she didn't want to be there.) regardless of what was going on... customer service should be a priority. She also got my order wrong. I ordered a grande Americano with an extra shot of espresso and oatmilk. She forgot the oatmilk. When I told her about the mishap, she poured out most of the coffee (best part) and added milk. So much for trying...
