Flavorful Food with a Cozy Ambiance
Bheema’s Indian Cuisine offers a modern yet cozy interior, featuring Indian cultural wall posters that add an authentic touch. The entrance faces north, and the restrooms are clean, ensuring a well-maintained dining space.
The menu primarily focuses on curries, bread, and biryanis, delivering bold flavors. Complementary soup though salty but it was good start. Chicken RRR appetizer is flavorful. The Mutton Mandi Biryani is the highlight, packed with delicious spices, tender mutton leg and perfect for sharing—two platter-sized portions can easily feed three people. Mutton chop was dry and salty. For a lighter, subtler option, the Pottalam Chicken Biryani is a great choice. Kurma on the side tastes great but was cold. The food serving dishes enhance the cultural dining experience. Look for specials over the weekends, as they may offer unique dishes.
The restaurant has limited seating, accommodating a maximum of 35–40 people. Counter-ordering is available, making the process efficient. However, watch out for the low-hanging lights. The seating isn’t the most comfortable, as the wide chairs make it difficult to join tables together. For larger groups (7+ people), takeout is advisable.
Despite the seating limitations, the food and ambiance make it worth visiting. I recommend this place and will definitely return...
Read moreBheemas is my usual go to restaurant near Detroit suburbs I have been to all three branches of them , I love the taste and not to brag I am one of their go to customer been there over 20 times but today I had the worst experience since I went in late at night at around 9:25 I know it’s pretty late and the closing time showed as 11pm so I assumed they would still be serving me and I was very hungry, I entered the restaurant to see all tables filled not with people but with emptied dishes and trash , well I managed to find one table and the staff approached me for order after nearly 15-20 mins just to tell me that the kitchen was closed 15 mins ago and he asked me to leave (I mean why even show me the table to sit and give me a menu just to ask me to leave ?).. I don’t know if they deliberately did not take my order or something else , my stomach was rumbling with hunger so I asked if they had anything at all to eat since online it says the store is open till 11 he said only chicken dum biryani was available, well that was really disappointing!
Well except this restaurant serves amazing food just one worst experience I had since I went in late at night , I usually go in during the day but this time it was really...
Read moreA Slice of Hyderabad in Farmington Hills — A Mandi Experience to Remember
From the moment I walked in, there was a warmth in the air — and not just from the spices. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Mandi, a dish that transported me straight to the bustling streets of Attapur, Hyderabad. The flavors were deep, smoky, and perfectly layered, just like the Mandi I remember from home. The rice was fragrant, the meat tender and falling off the bone, and the accompanying sauces elevated the dish to something truly extraordinary.
Special credit must go to “Mr. Charan”, who not only served the food with impeccable hospitality but added a personal touch that made the experience feel more like a cherished dinner at a friend’s home than a night out. His knowledge, attentiveness, and pride in the food were evident in every interaction.
This place has instantly earned a spot on my list of go-to restaurants — much like the legendary Shawgouse in Hyderabad. For anyone craving authentic Hyderabadi flavors, particularly a Mandi that rivals the best in India, this gem in Farmington Hills is not...
