Captain D's — Restaurant in Farmington

It really hurts my heart to leave a review like this as Captain D’s has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was a kid…but today’s lunch was disappointing and inedible! The shrimp was anyway. My husband and I ordered 2 of the Double Dozen shrimp & 2pc fish meals and a 2pc fish meal to-go, and when we got home and ready to eat the shrimp was fried dark, dark brown, and was like chewing on little rubber bands. They could not be eaten and had to be thrown out. French fries and hush puppies were hard as bricks. The fish wasn’t bad, we could at least eat that, but $41 is a lot of $$, between the 3 of us to only be able to eat 6 mediocre size pieces of fish out of our entire order. i WISH this was the 1st and only time this restaurant has turned out this level of crappiness, but sadly it is not, and it is time it’s brought to management’s attention. And I am sorry to say, Captain D’s, you lost 2 pretty regular...

A REAL DUMP.. If it wasn't for the good food I would not eat here anymore... The drive-up window order box doesn't work, you can't read 90% of the outside menu board.. The drive-up window is filthy & off it's track it is also bent up.. The restrooms are NOT for a handicapped person, only two maybe three thin people can be in them as small as they are.. So old they look dirty.. I wonder why the state or city haven't ticketed it for the condition of the restrooms... The parking lot needs redone as there are pot holes to watch out for..Like I said the food is good, service is pretty good too.. If I was the owner I would be ashamed of the condition it is in... I don't like Long John Silvers but they don't look like a dump.....People are talking about the condition of this...

I love fish but this place has went to heck. I came three weeks ago ordered a fish and fries and was told they were out of coleslaw. Fine no big deal. Went tonight and one of the cooks was wearing a hoodie (with the hood on). Took her drink into the kitchen. The cashier had zero customer service. Got my food and there was no coleslaw and was told it doesn’t come with coleslaw. However, I have ordered it a million times and it did! Asked when they quit serving that way they laughed and said they didn’t know. Plus they were out of hush puppies tonight again, out of things that are on the menu. Terrible...
