Long John Silver's | A&W — Restaurant in Farmington

great!(BUT could improve, please read.), they never forget my order like capt. D's who always are rude, pushy af, and forget more than 50% of my order 'every time' then NEVER get back to you. everything at long john silvers was tasty, but so salty we could barely eat it. shrimp was good, wish it where all less greasy it would really improve the quality a lot. my fries where so soft and drenched in the salt from the fish on top they where mush. i love the sweet people here, they dont push us to end our order at the menu board like capt. D's("is that all.-heres your total.-please pull forward." then no response after every choice. i love that they dont push me, its very upsetting when that happens other places), but their prices have also hiked and for the 3 of us it was over $50 which made me sad bc now we cant eat here as often. it all tasted good, the large root beer float was actually a large and great quality, but a bit expensive compared to sonic. and again everything just really salty and oily i wish i could have finished my meal completely and not thrown away the fries..it made me sad. but i was really happy none of the women where rude or weird and behaved like adults, thank you! please add less salt lol and crab cakes need to be 2 per order not just 1 for this price! i recommend the super sampler platter for 9.99(i will request no salt next time.) and i really wish a crab cake came with this order, i had to order it separate and they are kind of expensive for just 1, i feel i should have gotten 2...

This was probably one of my worst dining experiences. We went to the A&W Long John Silvers at around 8pm because we haven't been there is a while and everywhere else closed at 9pm. For 3 baskets and a bowl we ended up paying 53 bucks, which would have been about the price to eat at a much nicer place. They told us that the food would only take 10 minutes. 17 minutes later we get our food, everyone else food looked ok, except mine. I had gotten the chili cheese fries with the southwest shrimp bowl. It was absolutely horrible by both taste and presentation. It was filled mostly with rice, had about 5 shrimp, and the worst part was the cabbage. The cabbage had something on it that made the meal almost uneatable, it was incredibly zesty and the taste just brought pain to my mouth. I tried adding barbeque sauce to it but it was still absolutely horrible. I tried eating my chili cheese fries but the insane amount of zest left a taste in my mouth and everything that I ate/drank for the next 15 minutes. The only upside of eating there was the in store made root beer with cane sugar. We definitely will not be heading back here for a while. and judging by what other customers said as they were leaving, they didn't like eating...

I have to edit my review. The past few times I was in there it was not great. The fish is usually good, if they didnt let it sit and get that chewy hard edges, but forget about fresh fries. This time we ordered 3 meals and the fries were chewy like 2 day old leftovers and for $45+ it should come with fresh fries. The guy didnt even question the fries when I mentioned it, he just brought us new ones. But that wasnt the worse part, if you go in there you will see that the place is completely filthy! From the bathrooms to the dining rooms. Dirt, grime, discolored spots, trash, dust, gunk and just nasty! I remember going there when it was primo and excellent. Its in such a shape that it needs to practially be tore down and rebuilt. Its the nastiest restaurant I've been in for years. I dont like doing negative reviews, but this is 110% warranted! I would hope they could do something to fix that issue. And if nothing else, if your going to charge primo prices for meals, please make sure that its at least clean enough in there to eat it. ...
