A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Farmington

Good A&Ws are hard to come by where I am from. Now and then I have to drive down to farmington for work, and I cannot go anywhere but A&W. The food tasted how I expected (greasy fast food. Not complaining!), the selection is big as this is two restaurants in one, the staff I encountered at the front desk was friendly, my order was 100% accurate to what I had ordered and the wait time wasn't long at all. The restaurant itself and the bathrooms could have been cleaned up a bit, but nothing disgusting - just some food on the floor or a dirty mirror and sink area. And if you go to A&W for the same reason as I do, the root beer is F R E S H. Every time I've been there they've never disappointed with a fresh brew of sweet carbonated sugarjuices. They do have this weird thing going on where they use one register for when you order the food and then have to run to the other side of the counter just to process card sales, which is kinda trippy but I'm sure that corporate has heard their concern and they don't...

We don't live in Farmington and was super excited to take my 10 yr old to a&w for the first time . It was my husband , myself and our 2 kids. We went inside to order so we could get much of the a&w experience as possible, the frosty mug. Well we were not greeted and my family all decided what they wanted and we waited for someone to take our order or even acknowledge us. We even said we all knew what we wanted. One of the workers was messing with I believe the shake machine and someone even poked their head out of the back thru the little window. We stood there about 10 minutes and we left without ordering. I felt that it was very rude. I am beyond disappointed because we use to love A&W but we left and ate somewhere else where we were actually...

Yum, Yummy, and Yummier!!! Delicious and fresh every time we've ordered. The cheeseburgers have an old fashioned appearance and taste, that leaves you wanting more. The french fries are perfectly salted every time, with enough salt for a good flavor, without having to add more, especially for someone like me, who is a self-acclaimed saltaholic. Most everywhere you go these days, there is never hardly any salt on the french fries, but not at A&W, they're great. My husband loves the root beer, another great classic. The Spicy Papa sauce is great not only for onion rings, but also french fries, or anything else you can think of to dip in...
