UPDATED: 8-22-20 from 1 star to 4 stars After a bad experience on my first visit to this restaurant a very dedicated restaurant owner implored me to give them another chance. I went in today at the slowest time of day for a restaurant, 2pm. Ordered Tutto Mare, all of the food seemed very fresh and was delicious, scallops were cooked perfectly! I substituted penne for the spaghetti that usually comes with the dish but it was somewhat overcooked and not firm to the bite (al dente) otherwise I was very pleased with my meal. As for Covid19 adjustments: I did notice a servepro sticker on the door upon entering stating that the restaurant was thoroughly cleaned 1 day prior. Unfortunately there were still guests arriving and departing without masks ( one of which felt it necessary to stand 3 feet beside me while I was paying for my food) I understand that this can be hard for the restaurant to enforce. Togo specialist that took my order was kind, attentive and wore her mask properly throughout. 2 other employees on the floor observed wearing their mask below their noses. This place could easily be a 5 star restaurant with a bit more attention to detail but overall was very pleased.
Original review below Horrible. Ordered Chicken Flamingo chicken was terribly burnt around outer edges and ruined the flavor of the whole dish. Menu description says topped with broccoli, see picture to understand what that means. Asked for Cavatelli as my side pasta but received Conchiglie more commonly referred to as "small shells" perhaps the kitchen messed up, perhaps this is their idea of Cavatelli. I don't know, but I've been to Italy and they wouldn't feed this to their dogs. Atmosphere : here we are in the era of Covid yet guests routinely walked around without masks, to go specialist wore hers under her chin, handed me the pen she was using to sign the receipt and no sanitizer in sight (unlike me not to tip but I did not in this instance for those two facts alone) Large groups seated in close proximity and at least one celebrating something or another. There were other issues but I've been long-winded enough already. Will not return, will advise friends and...

She also said she would send me a gift card. I will try it again and see if it was a fluke. I changed the rating from 1 to 2 based on her going out of her way to change my mind. ORIGINAL POST: Just don't! We stayed in Farmington and chose Pasta House based on close proximity to our hotel. Our waitress took our drink order and I asked for a large glass of wine. I thought the menu had a glass, quartino, and bottle listed. It actually started with a quartino (1/4 liter), a liter, and liter and a half (magnum). She commented "the big one" and I told her I guess... She left without explaining the size further, so I looked at the menu and saw the sizing. I started to try to waive her down, but she wasnt looking and started opening a magnum and pouring it into a large carafe. I physically ran over to stop her and told her I wanted a large glass, not a pitcher. She said, "sorry, it's already poured." Normally, I would have said no way, but I was with my new boss and didn't want to make a scene. The nasty wine was $28, and just in case you are thinking she didn't realize it was just for me, she only brought one glass and the other two people there ordered a beer and a margarita. The food was awful too. I ordered breaded chicken with fettuccini Alfredo. I got shells and Alfredo. The Alfredo tasted like a floury roux. The chicken was so salty I couldn't even gut down half of it. This was the worst dinner I have had in a long time and it was almost $60 thanks to the ridiculous wine tab with most of the wine left behind. At least my boss now has a great joke to share about me. Thanks to my lovely waitress for the amazing dining experience! Never again! And yes, I loved staying in Farmington and will be back regularly for work. I just won't be eating at Pasta...
Read moreFood was ok, but not up to the level I've enjoyed at other Pasta House restaurants. Among other dishes our group ordered, we had the fried mushrooms (as an appetizer), but they were mostly very small pieces with too much of the "crunchies" from the fried batter and too little of actual bite-sized mushrooms -- more like a batch of fried "pieces of caps and stems" that were originally from a can. An order of "pasta Alfredo with chicken" arrived with two large pieces of chicken (like one chicken breast cut jaggedly lengthwise) dropped on top of the bowl of pasta, rather than cut-up pieces mixed in with the pasta and sauce. My "shrimp garanzini with risotto" had a good flavor, but was skimpy on the shrimp and really skimpy on the mushrooms, but had plenty of butter (or oil?) in the risotto (a LOT!). Service staff was nice and were friendly, but our food was slow to arrive, so maybe they were short-staffed, and maybe it wasn't a great day in the kitchen. Tables were too close together, to the point where I (who sat closest to the aisle) felt like I was "in" the aisle. This is the only Pasta House in this town, but I think it should do better, and I hope they can. We'll try it again ... someday ......
