UPDATE: This was originally a 2 star review. Since leaving the review, we've ordered several more times. The delivery drivers have been wearing masks every time since, and the pizza of course has been good. My only remaining complaint is that no one actually responded to my complaint the first time, so I don't know if the problem was fixed due to me being heard, or simple coincidence. I would have changed the review to 5 stars instead of 3, but honestly I don't feel heard, and the lack of response demonstrates to me either poor leadership, poor customer service skills, or both. I'll probably be back again, but whether I order often in the future depends entirely on the amount of mistakes that are made, since those mistakes seem to go without accountability.
Original Review: The pizza was really good as always. The delivery driver dropped part of our order on the ground on the way to the door. It happens and she apologized profusely so that wasn’t a big deal, but the driver wasn’t wearing a mask and that was very offensive, as we are a household that takes COVID very seriously. If the driver isn’t wearing a mask, who knows if the cook is wearing a mask or if anyone preparing the food is wearing a mask? I know that a lot of people think that COVID is fake, but I personally know people being affected by it right now, so it is very much still active, and it would be nice to know that Pizza 9 is still taking...
Read moreGotta give big props to Pizza 9. A few weeks ago we ordered a pizza. The pizza showed up and it was wrong. It was pretty close to what we ordered. It was thin crust instead of deep dish and one side of the pizza was wrong. We didn't call back or anything cuz now days it does no good so we just ate what was brought to us. Just after we finished eating I get a call from Pizza 9. They told us they messed up our order and they were bringing the correct order. ( they mixed it up with another order) A few mins late the GM her self showed up with the correct order and said she would be sending us certificates for 10% off next time we dine in. A few days later we received our certificates. The other day we decided to order another pizza. When they delivered it they remembered and checked to Make sure we received our certificates. I think it was very good customer service of them to call me back saying they messed up and made it right and then checked in and followed through with what they said they would do. You don't get good customer service now days like this and I will gladly eat there time and again just for the good...
Read moreA few pluses and minuses with this pizza place. The service was top notch. They claims to be a "Chicago style" pizzeria, but don't cut the pizza in squares which IS Chicago style. The crust itself is what I call "Kansas crust" pie pans are highly coated with oil which give the crust a oily crunch, which personally I enjoy sometimes. This was originally formulated by the Pizza Hut chain. For my taste the sauce is a little acidic as I care for a sweeter sauce. Cheese was a little underwhelming. Topping spread was very good and plentiful. Delivery was prompt and courteous. The one that killed two stars for me was the pizza box. It was one big ad for an injury lawyer (see photo), you want to talk about poor taste? Hawking lawyers on my pizza? Why not a cream to stop STD's or Bob's taxidermy services?
