As a former employee of several years, I was appalled with the food and service at this location. The staff members were extremely rude. They were combative and failed on all fronts to listen to their customer. While in line they had 2 people from the drive thru come inside due to incorrect things on their orders.Three mobile order customers were made to come inside, even though that defeats the purpose of the convenience of the mobile order. The manager told them, “I didn’t want you sitting in my drive thru!” Compared to my store on Chapman Hwy or the Sevierville store where I worked some too, they were not busy at all. My family witnessed 3 families leave because the line inside was so long and not moving at all. The manager threw a large handful of paper Bo-round sleeves on top of our food on the tray. Extremely unsanitary! There was food, condiments and trash all over the floor. This is not the first time it has been this way here. It appears that this is a trend and we will not be coming back! I wish that the regional manager would step in before this location closes permanently as we were not the only patrons complaining and upset with this experience. On top of the poor service our food was terrible. The bacon was chewy like beef jerky even tho we ordered it well done. I have enclosed a picture of the quality of my biscuit and Bo- round. Biscuit was very under cooked and the Bo-rounds were burnt and certainly a few hours old. The register selections are extremely customizable if you were trained properly. There is no reason why they should not have put out requests on the ticket since they were not calling out the food orders. Our order was not placed on the screen correctly and then somehow it was our fault that they put the incorrect items on the slip when attempting to prepare the food. This was the most unorganized chaotic Bojangles I have ever been in! My store was made a training store because of our quality of work, cleanliness, and food quality, and this store should not be allowed to represent the Bojangles name! It is everything we were taught the company is NOT! Even with fewer staff than was there (1 store manager, Zachary Goins, and myself) we ran a better shift than this! Our store was exceptional, and this one is...
Read moreJust tried going to the Bojangles on Lovel Rd, in Knoxville, TN with a coworker to grab a quick Togo lunch to bring back to the office. We had to wait for over 5 minutes for my coworkers order to be taken while listening to the back of the house staff repeated yell out there's people upfront, who's covering the front? Now that my coworkers order has been taken they guy proceeds to ignore me and the customer behind me and starts preparing my coworkers order. Couter guy as we will call him is see poking around in the chicken bins, the looks up and tell my coworker they are out of legs and ask if he will take a couple of wings instead. Since I wanted the 2 piece dark meal as well, I figured no big deal I would be offended the same substitution for thr leg they were out of. Nope not going to happen. Once counter guy gets to me and I place my order I am told they are out off thighs ans legs and would have to order something else or wait 8 to 12 minutes for more to be fried. So I ask the guy so what do you have? He just looks at me with the dear in the headlights looks. I proceed to tell him not to worry about it I'll go somewhere else and also told him I was with my coworker and our orders should have been taken together. Do you know what couter guy told me? Well let me tell you what he told me, he said their procedure was to take one order at a time and then make that order before taking another order. Keep in mind there are aleast 4 to 6 other staff members in the back of the kitchen. It seems like this Bojangles locations prioritizes there drive through customs over there walkin customers. Plus they can't even keep up with the the drive through as it was backed up almost into the main street. I call that just down right bad customer service. Also, how does a place like Bojangles let themselves runs out of both legs and thighs during the...
Read moreI had the most frustrating experience at this Bojangles location and I will absolutely not be visiting this location anymore.
When I ordered at the drive through speaker, the worker repeated my order back to me and I corrected the (multiple) mistakes he had made while taking my order. He read it back to me correctly, so I figured everything was fine. When I pulled up to the window, he took my payment and told me to pull up to the side door because they were making fresh biscuits and it would be about 5 minutes until my order was ready. I pulled forward and waited 15! minutes before going in and asking if my order was ready yet, and the guy grabbed it and acted like he was JUST about to bring my order out to me. Now, if this had been the first time this had happened I wouldn’t have thought much of it, but this has happened before, not only to me, but everyone I know that has been to this location.
THATS NOT EVEN WHERE IT ENDS!
I left and drove home, excited to eat my meal, and when I got home, I realized they gave me the wrong persons order. Mind you, there were ZERO other customers in the store or even in the drive through when I was there. Not only was I given the wrong order, but the wrong order that I got was ALSO WRONG. The receipt was inside of the bag and quite literally every item on the receipt was not reflected in the actual order in the bag.
With all that said, I don’t expect much of fast food chains, but this location is an embarrassment and whoever is in charge of running it, needs to change it before they have lost all of...
