Pin Thai — Restaurant in Farragut

The food is excellent! It is family owned, with only 4 employees and they were very friendly. They have a sign when you enter that says that the food may take 40 minutes to an hour to be prepared. They were extremely busy while we were there on a Wednesday night. They have a sign on the door that says that they only do to go orders 30 minutes prior to close. At 45 minutes to close they turned the sign around on the door to closed and stopped answering the phone. The only downside was actually eating in the restaurant. There was a large group of about 10 people and because they were so loud and the place was so small, the level of noise in the restaurant was at yelling level. Also, because they stopped answering the phone 45 minutes before they closed, we listened to the phone ring nonstop. It did take close to an hour for us to get our entrees. There was a steady stream of people coming in for to go orders so I highly suggest taking your food to go. Also, because the large party took extra chairs from another table there was a table empty, but it only had two seats and we had a party of four so we had to sit at the bar.

Before we went, we knew there might be an order because of the reviews said that there is a wait for a reason and it’s worth the wait. We absolutely agree. We are visiting from out of town so we won’t be returning, but if we did, we would probably stick with a...

Super delicious food and a fun and light atmosphere. This brand new restaurant is already one of my favorite spots in the Knoxville area.

Let’s start with the customer service. It is top notch as we were quickly greeted and our needs we’re always in their attention and met quickly. You can tell they want to make sure you not only to get what you order, but that you have an amazing experience too. While we were waiting for food many takeout orders were coming and going and they were all taken care of like family and one even got help loading a large order into their car.

Now for the food. We ordered the panang curry with chicken and the cashew sauce with tofu, both were absolutely delicious. The curry was excellently prepared and seasoned to the point I just wanted to lick the bowl clean. The cashew sauce was just as good; it was absolutely delicious and also full of flavor without being too heavy or overwhelming. Everything was prepared perfectly and when we were asked how things were after getting our food it was from a place of genuine care and attention to detail.

Had a craving for Thai Cuisine for lunch. Found this place in my restaurant search. This restaurant is new to Farragut. Gave it a try. The atmosphere, nothing special. It’s plain and clean and open. Small dining area with little ambiance. The food… amazing. Probably the best Thai food that I have had in town. My guest and I decided to give the menu a run so we started with the cheese rolls. Huge.. crispy.. stuffed with cheese and delicious. Next we had Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Wow! Huge portions, hot and fresh immediately served from the pan. So don’t expect to receive all the food at the same time. It was magnificent. Really flavorful, rich in texture and savory. Lastly, we had the sweet mango sticky rice. Steaming Hot.. sweet but not too sweet and a whole mango. Again.. huge portions. I definitely will return and hope you give this place a try. It was...
