My family and I decided to visit Cracker Barrel on Friday, November 8th, after a four-year hiatus, spurred by past experiences marred by poor customer service and declining quality at this very location. Despite our reservations, the craving for your menu drew us in, and I took a leap of faith. Supporting local businesses is a duty I take seriously, and I hoped for a positive experience that would reflect well on our community. At first, our arrival was promising. The host greeted us warmly and seated us right away, filling us with optimism. However, as we settled in, we found ourselves waiting for about eight minutes, watching our server attend to other tables, even greeting a party seated after us and serving them drinks and bread before acknowledging our presence. We were a party of five—two adults, two teenagers, and a preteen—yet it felt as though we were invisible. When Connie finally approached us, her demeanor felt rushed and distracted. She took drink orders starting with the adults, and while I appreciated her efficiency, the atmosphere shifted when it came to our diabetic child who requested water. Connie’s snarky remark, “Waters for everyone else?” stung. As someone who has worked as a waitress for 16 years, I understand the pressures of the job, but this comment felt particularly hurtful, especially since it was a necessary request for our child’s health. My daughter felt singled out and discriminated against, and it was disheartening to witness. As the meal progressed, we were left with empty drinks for most of the time, and any additional requests—like butter or Heinz 57—seemed to be an inconvenience. There was no check-in to see if our meals were satisfactory, and the unsatisfactory dish we had went unnoticed. When I ordered takeout for our other child who couldn’t join us, Connie’s reaction was one of annoyance rather than appreciation, which left us feeling unvalued as customers. The moment of reckoning came with the bill. Connie dropped it off, scrawling “15% gratuity not included” in ink and reiterating it aloud. As a server myself, I had every intention of tipping 20% despite the service issues, but this felt like a slap in the face. When we proceeded to pay, we noticed that another table of Connie’s had not received the same note. This inconsistency prompted me to request a manager, and the assistant manager was attentive and apologetic, suggesting I speak to the general manager about my concerns. However, when the general manager finally approached, I was met with a dismissive attitude. She cut me off before I could express my grievances, and when I asked for the bill back to follow up with corporate, she callously ripped it up and threw it away, indicating a complete disregard for my concerns. In those moments, I was left in shock, feeling unheard and unvalued. We left Cracker Barrel with a bitter taste in our mouths, disheartened by the entire experience and the general manager's lack of empathy. I feel compelled to share our experience with others, hoping it serves as a wake-up call for improvement. It's my sincere hope that this feedback will be taken to heart and used to enhance training for your staff, ensuring that future customers receive the quality service they deserve.

Food was good. Waitress was very nice. Here's the reason for the one star. When I received my drink, I didn't realize in the beginning that the glass was dirty until after I drank about a quarter of it. Dirty meaning there was something hard and crusted up on the inside. I showed the waitress and she was very apologetic. Apparently the manager was too busy to speak with me about it but the waitress said she did show the manager. I voiced my concern especially since I could not identify what was in that glass and neither could the waitress. All she told me was the manager was going to comp the drink. That didn't happen but CB employee's should use more caution and verify their dish wear is clean especially ever since they were recently sued for 9.7 million dollars for giving a patron a glass full of chemical instead of water. You'd think they would have better safety precautions in place since that incident. No telling what that was in my glass and coincidentally I did get sick later that night but not sure if this had anything to do with it. Sadly, we will not be dining at any CB's in the future. Not worth risking our health.

Service absolutely sucks! Service is probably the wrong word, really it’s the lack of willingness to do their job at the most basic level. If it’s 8:30 PM during the week, your driving down the road on your way home and you think to yourself, “I’ll swing in real quick to pick up a few side dishes to go with dinner”. Don’t waste your time. I tried several times. I could get someone on the phone and their first question is “can you be here before we close”? I say, “yes, I’m on my way”. Then “please hold “. Ring, ring, hang up. Maybe we got disconnected by accident, let me try again. Nope, get hung up on again. At this point I’m in the parking lot, maybe they close sooner than I thought? Nope, it says 9 right on the door. You would think they would have the common courtesy just to tell me they stop taking orders 30 minutes before close. It’s not like it used to be. I’ve worked in the hospitality business and if someone walked in 5 minutes after we closed, they got feed.

Yesterday for lunch My 2 teen sons, their 2 friends, & myself ate at this Cracker Barrel location! We all agreed that This is the best Cracker Barrel we’ve ate at so far! The waitress was very nice, helpful, & knew the menu/dishes well! We were never left without a refill she was very attentive! The food was fresh & very delicious! Nothing needed salt or pepper it was seasoned perfectly! The portions was even larger than any other Cracker Barrel that we’ve visited! You actually seem to get your moneys worth & then some! Dishes/food to mention: •2 of the boys got the honey sting chicken tenders with fries & Macncheese! We all had to try their chicken because they were raving about it & it was delicious! The chicken was freshly made, the breading was flavorful & crispy, & the star was their new honey sting sauce! They said the Mac n cheese was delicious, very cheesy, & that the fries were cooked perfectly! •my other son got the meatloaf with chicken & dumplings, & fries! & he said the meatloaf was delicious & moist, the fries were crispy & fresh, & of course those dumplings were so good! •the other friend got the chicken & dumplings meal with mashed potatoes & Macncheese! I couldn’t believe the portion of dumplings they gave him! & it must of been delicious because he devoured it all! •I got one of my all time favorites the grilled CHICKEN BLT! I wish I would of snapped pictures now but this was by far the prettiest grilled chicken BLT from Cracker Barrel that I’ve ever seen! I mean it could of been a their reference photo for this sandwich on their menu! It taste even better than it looked! You must try it if your ever there! I like it with tobasco hot sauce but that’s just my personal preference! The chicken was moist & flavorful, the bacon was crisp & cooked to perfection, the bun was toasted but so soft, & whatever smoky sweet sauce they use on it should be bottled & sold thate how good it is! •we can’t forget those honestly biscuits & cornbread muffins! They were fresh & delicious as well! I will say that this location is smaller than most while most Cracker Barrel’s I’ve visited have had 3 main dining bays or some even more this one only had 2! With that being said They were able to seat us right away with no wait time also! We will define back to this location & I recommend anyone In the...

Came in with a party of nine to have a meal with my dad and siblings expecting to have a bit of a wait to be seated. Surprisingly was seated within 5 minutes. It took 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our drink order but it seemed like a busy night even on a Tuesday so we didn’t mind too much. Several other smaller parties get seated around us and they get their drinks while we wait for ours. After almost 20 minutes from our initial drink order we go to the host stand to inquire as we haven’t even seen our waitress. She promptly comes out to drop our drinks off. We say we are ready to order and she says that she will drop off a tray right quick and be back to allow one of our party to get back from the bathroom. Queue another 10 minutes of waiting. She finally comes back for our order. After a bit of waiting, she comes back to inform us that 2 of the meals that we ordered are not available. After having to ask for a menu we reorder. Then we wait for about an additional 20 minutes before she returns to tell us that once again one of the meals that we ordered was unavailable as well. Finally we get all of our orders in and the first of the food starts coming out but for some strange reason the reorders are first and it takes a while for her to bring the remaining meals. By this point most of the other parties around us have gotten their food, eaten, and left so there are maybe 4 or 5 parties in our immediate vicinity but we can’t see our waitress anywhere. She comes out with the first round of checks which allows us to ask for an order of pancakes that was missing to be packaged to go. Our checks were messed up as there were 3 parties paying and we tried to be very clear on what went on what check before even ordering. It took 3 times of her coming back with a wrong check before being correct. As we get up to leave, she lets us know “please come back to Cracker Barrel even if it’s not this Cracker Barrel.” Awful experience and I tried to give grace as it was busier when we came and we did have a larger party but this was ridiculous and if it wasn’t harder for us to relocate with my dad and younger family members then I would have walked out. Just a horrible experience that I have no desire to...
