I recently visited Red Robin and had an interesting experience that left me with mixed feelings. While the food and service were generally good, I couldn't overlook the long wait time despite the restaurant being almost empty. Here's my detailed review:
Upon entering Red Robin, I was surprised to find a nearly empty restaurant, yet the wait for a table seemed disproportionately long. It's puzzling why the wait was so extensive, especially when there were plenty of available seats. This aspect significantly impacted my overall impression of the dining experience.
Fortunately, once I was seated, the service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed genuinely invested in ensuring a positive experience. They promptly took our orders and remained attentive throughout our meal, which was a definite plus.
Now, let's talk about the highlight of the visit—the burgers. Red Robin's burgers were undeniably delicious. They were cooked to perfection, juicy, and packed with flavor. The menu offered a decent variety of toppings and combinations, allowing for some customization to suit individual preferences. If you're a burger lover, Red Robin won't disappoint.
Additionally, I appreciated the refills on the bottomless fries. The generous portion of fries that came with the burgers was satisfying, and the option to request more without additional charge was a welcomed touch. It's always nice to have the freedom to indulge in crispy, golden fries.
On the downside, I found the overall food selection at Red Robin to be fairly basic. While the burgers were undoubtedly the star of the show, the rest of the menu lacked excitement. The appetizer choices were limited, and the non-burger options seemed somewhat uninspired. If you're looking for a diverse range of culinary options, you might feel slightly underwhelmed.
To sum it up, Red Robin offers a satisfying dining experience with good service and delicious burgers. However, the long wait time in an almost empty restaurant was perplexing and somewhat disappointing. The basic food selection may not appeal to those seeking more culinary adventure. If you're primarily interested in indulging in a tasty burger and don't mind the wait, Red Robin can be a decent choice.
Overall, I rate Red Robin with 3 out of 5 stars. While the burgers and service stood out, the lengthy wait and lackluster menu prevented it from being an exceptional...
Read moreI ordered a burger that originally has bacon on it but due to my pork allergy, I’m not able to consume bacon. So I told the waiter I’d like the burger WITHOUT the bacon and made it clear, however when I received my burger it had loads of bacon in it. Perhaps the waiter forgot to tell the cooks, or the cooks forgot so I asked for them to re-make my burger without the bacon. Literally ONE MINUTE LATER, the waiter comes back and I receive my burger with what appears to be no bacon. I asked the waiter if they had really re-made the burger, and the waiter assured me they had made it from scratch. However when I opened up the burger, and there was still a piece of bacon in it. The cooks and waiters had not only had the audacity of ignoring my original request, but returned my burger after pulling the bacon out, as if I couldn’t do that myself. Not to mention them lying about making it from scratch and completely being careless towards me potentially suffering from an allergic reaction from the food they served me. So for the third time, I ask them to re-make my burger without the bacon and I finally receive my food without the possibility of having an allergic reaction. Obviously being disappointed with my experience, I bring this issue up to the manager telling him about the incident, however with a straight face with no remorse, he says two words, “I apologize.” This was all he had to say, as if he excused the cooks behavior of serving food with cross-contact of a food I’m allergic to after I requested it not to be on the burger. This is by far the worst dine in customer service experience I’ve had in my life. This incident also makes me think, if they believe re-serving food with cross contact is okay, what are their cleanliness standards in the kitchen? God knows. If you care about quality customer service at dine-in restaurants at all, and you want to be assured that the cleanliness standards in the kitchen are up to par, then do NOT...

Delaney was our server & she was FANTASTIC! We lacked for nothing, she had a great personality & took care of a small issue with my app/account with RR.
I tried a (limited time) CARAMEL APPLE LEMONADE The flavors of granny smith apple and spiced brown sugar pair with Minute Maid® Lemonade for a seriously festive refreshment. $4.99. In MY opinion it was GROSS! I couldn’t get past the spiced brown sugar taste. I asked Delaney if I could switch it for SUNSET LEMONADE Minute Maid® Lemonade, citrus juice, pineapple juice and desert pear flavor. $4.99 (Both are under the bottomless beverages for $4.99) I’ve had this one before & knew I’d like it!
We had the PRETZEL BITES $7.99 Warm, soft, salty bear claw pretzel bites and New Belgium® Fat Tire® beer cheese. These things are delicious! Just the right amount of salt.
