Welcome to Fayetteville, Cava! You are such a breath of fresh, delicious, and healthy breath of fresh air among so many spots that do not match the quality. I can't wait to come back and try you when you are fully open, but definitely today is a great start. At the community day today the staff was welcoming from the front to check out.. I liked that they really opened up the space for seating and walking around--it doesn't look like the same place! There is not too much color with little pops of white, brown, and black. On the walls as you walk in they boast how they work with local farms and all their ingredients are made and chopped up fresh every day--and you can tell. All of the items along the line were do colorful and so tempting to eat. The menu is super simple with first deciding on your base of a salad, greens and grains, mini pita, grain bowl, large pita, or right rice. For my base I decided to get the greens and grains bowl with spinach and right rice. Right rice is a delicious high protein mix of lentils, chickpeas, and peas. They give you plenty of food and options. I tried to decide between everything and it made my head hurt a little bit, but a good hurt. For my toppings I got tzakihi, blended eggplant, crazy feta, honey chicken, roasted vegetables, stewed tomatoes, and pickled onions. For dressings I got a side of their hot hatissa vinaigrette. Since it was a community opening they were not accepting payments, but donations to the Second Harvest food bank.. They gave me a drink cup for free and they have some great sodas, teas, and lemonades! Omg I mixed their cucumber and raspberry tea and it was sooo yummy!

The bowls and wraps are absolutely fabulous. It’s a must try! Simple, quick service with a much healthier menu than fast food! From corporate website: CAVA IS GROUNDED IN THE MEDITERRANEAN WAY OF LIFE, WHERE FOOD IS AT THE CENTER OF CULTURE AND CONNECTION. Ike Grigoropoulos, Chef Dmitri Moshovitis, and Ted Xenohristos have known each other since they were six. They were often found goofing off in their Greek church’s Sunday School class, before heading to their respective parents’ homes for a big Sunday lunch, typically full of slow-roasted lamb, lemony potatoes, lots of olives, and bowls of tzatziki. Food and hospitality was always coursing through their veins, thanks to growing up as sons of first-generation immigrants who all valued making room at the table for all their family and friends. Later in life, they cared deeply about creating restaurants that paid homage to the Mediterranean traditions they grew up with, where food equals connection, and what’s good for you is also what tastes good too. They, along with co-founder Brett Schulman, opened CAVA in 2010 to share the food they loved in an accessible fast-casual format.

This is a hard one because this is one of my favorites places to visit. This time the food, (Rice, Vegetables and Lentils were all under cooked and the lamb meatballs were RAW. When we brought it to the attention of the manager on duty (Leah) see told us it was supposed to look like that due to the ingredients. Next she tried to blame it on the previous manager and walked away with an attitude rolling her eyes. I went over to the counter to get cooked ones and she told me that we got the last ones so she couldn’t replace them and never apologized. A few minutes later the cook put out more lamb but she brought us chicken as a replacement for Raw Lamb meat. She then tried to blame the cook who was new(very nice guy). I explained to her that it was not his fault if he wasn’t trained properly. She then said she would try smelling the meat in the future. This ruined our appetite and was a complete waste of money. We will not be returning but just check your food, especially the meat. Raw meat is dangerous. I will add photos from my wife’s phone asap.

I will try to make this brief because I actually just left the restaurant, but the staff is so wonderful to me Every time I have come in that I couldn’t help but leave this review. I’d like it to be known that I am not vegan, however I myself as a patron have extremely difficult to deal with allergies and the staff here at this restaurant has always gone above and beyond to make sure that there is no cross-contamination and that I receive food that is both quality and delicious as there is not a lot of things that I can eat anymore. Today, Lex helped me and they were more than wonderful, had a fantastic smile, and gave excellent customer service. This staff (including the manager) actually took an entire 30 minutes to go over ingredients with me when I first visited the store. I was a retail manager for 10 years and can say without a doubt, these are definitely qualities in employees that are hard to find, and I can only hope they are being treated at the highest standards.

Out of all of the places in my hometown, I make sure that I come here whenever I’m in town and I look for this place everywhere I go because (per staff education) I know that I can get something to eat. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and you will not be disappointed. Take it from someone who developed extreme allergies late in her adulthood and can no longer eat any dairy/milk products or onions/derivatives of many bulb plants at all, this is one place that has something for everyone.

There are things on their menu I can’t eat and they look delicious! Enjoy...

I have been an avid customer at Cava for almost 2 weeks. I must say that I love, love , love the Fafafel Crunch bowl. Needless to say, that's the only meal I've tried thus far.

Now for the reason why I will continue to dine at the Fayetteville location. I have dined at restaurants and the food was delicious, but the customer service was not. Customer service is every thing to a customer--at least it is to me, due to the fact that I am particularly observant.

I wasn't really impressed with the customer service during my recent visits; until, yesterday's visit. Let me say this before I proceed, the first engagement begins with the server/cashier. They are not just the face of their team, but the face of the company. With that being said, upon my reaching the counter to place my order Ms. Tam greeted me before she asked for my order--MAJOR POINTS. Ms. Tam is a model who exemplifies the characteristics of excellent customer service. She was patient, courteous, attentive, and well-mannered just to name a few of her attributes from my observation. The attitude she demonstrated speaks volumes about her character not just as a person, but as an employee/teammate/team leader as well.

In conclusion, it was a pleasure meeting you Ms. Tam. Also, I will say the team who worked last night did a phenomenal job. Ms. Tam thank you and your teammates for your service! Keep making a difference in your customers lives! God bless...
