I have shopped this store for years. All employees AA+ Most all have sold me a piece of Vera Wang over the years. Never had a bad experience once until this year with the manager Carrie.
If you know VW (Vera Wang) you can upgrade her rings but have to spend double. NP. I had one picked out I found online. Manager said she would handle everything plus I was having one ring upsized but only if the deal was good to go. Well she sent the ring to be resized before even making sure the deals was good to go. Mistake one! Mistake 2 communication she lacks in. 3 days go by and not a word. Stopped in no manager Marie (excellent sales lady) texted and called her. Found out âmanagers day offâ Canât trade in this store doesnât carry one double the size and the one off line I considered a âCustomâ and can be done only if you pay out right, take back and do a bunch of other stuff to trade. But I wasnât customizing it but still considered as one. In short - staff excellent, manager not and since I could not up grade (an early 29th anniversary) like I thought.    Read moreThis Sunday, my grandparents were in the store looking at new rings to replace their current ones while they were in town. I just walked into the store while my mother was in a nearby one. There was an Indian lady at the counter with a black man talking to her and she treated him as if he was bothering her when he was giving his number to be called for an item. His demeanor was visibly annoyed by her. After he left she STILL didn't approach my grandparents. They had to be in the store for at least ten to twenty minutes before they got fed up and walked out because not once were they greeted by her or told that they'll be helped shortly. They buy jewelry quite often, mainly rings for my grandmother and watches for my grandfather, even my mother and I buy jewelry for them. Heck, we had just split of while my grandparents were getting hats and sneakers, while my mother and I went to Simply Southern and other clothes store before she went to look at earrings in another store. I love their jewelry. On December 24, 2020 my husband bought me a necklace and earring set for Christmas. We spent close to $800.00. I received my credit card statement at the end of January and paid the balance in full the payment posted on February 2, 2021. The payment was due on January 27, I didnât realize the due date had come and gone as I had just received the statement. Zales assessed a late fee but, never sent a statement to that effect. They charged me a late payment in February and March, again they never sent a bill. One would think that Zales would value their customers of almost 30 years enough to call and say, âyou have missed a payment.â They did not, instead they turned me over to a collections agency. I have paid the late fees I feel were unreasonable levied against me and canceled my credit card account. I will never shop at Zales again and...
