Read moreI came to eat with my children in anticipation of Mother’s Day! My server was great and attentive. I ordered shrimp and chicken fajitas. The first problem was the corn tortillas were cold and not fully cooked. I spoke to my server and he said he would take care of it! As I was waiting for my warm corn tortillas I look down to grab a shrimp when I see a long hair stuck to the shrimp!!!!! Got grossed out immediately! I notified my server (44) and again, he was very apologetic and asked me what I wanted to do? I told him I was no longer wanting anything and that I knew this was not his fault! I’m guessing he relayed what happened to his manager. Spencer approaches our table, he seems very unsure of what to do or say! All he said was, “I took off that charge from your bill.” Really? Yes of course you are because I’m not paying for a plate I had two bites from with a hair on my shrimp and cold tortillas! I do not feel Spencer was genuine nor did he care that my Mother’s Day lunch with my children had been ruined! Spencer could have been a little bit more empathetic. I did not expect him to zero out my bill just a genuine empathetic response would have been appreciated! Spencer acted like he was making me a favor by removing the charge of my plate which was not the case! My server tells me, “you will get a survey after you pay and feel free to put down what happened under the comments” well I paid but no survey populated! The hostess,I think her name was poem or poet. She's the one that seated us a table. She first wanted to know did we want to sit in the bar I said no the seats were too tall I'm too old to climb up in them. I said can we have a booth she said we can have half a booth, There are 3 of us all sisters, so okay walk back there and there was probably five or six empty full size booths and I said can we have one of those full-size booths they're more comfortable. She got MAD!! TOOK US TO THE FULL SIZE BOOTH AND SWUNG THOSE MENUS ALMOST ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE TABLE AND KEPT HER BACK TO US AND JUST WALKED OFF !!!! They were all looking at each other thinking what the heck just happened. Our waiter and the manager we're extremely nice. They both came back to our tables several times to make sure that the food was good and everything was what we needed. If it had not been for the manager and our waiter being so nice and making sure we were took care of I would have never walked in that place again. I would like to give you a five-star the food was awesome the service was fantastic, but that hostess gave us a bad start from the time we walked in the door. When the manager was apologizing I told him he doesn't owe us an apology she does. The manager came back by later and ask us if she had came back by our table and apologized, NO SHE DIDN'T. I just hope she's not there the next time I go, because other than that are dinning experience was really good. I wish I could remember our waiter's name and the manager's name. Read moreREAD- Absolutely disgusting place. Went in with my sister for dinner Saturday night. She ordered a medium well steak and I ordered spicy shrimp tacos. Her steak arrived way to raw to even be considered medium well. And as reading other reviews this seems to happen often. But MY food... there was a BUG in it. The first taco shell was kind of hard and felt stale. So I moved to the next taco thinking it would be better, the taco shell was stuck to the paper as I was peeling it off I seen a brown bug on top of the coleslaw. Immediately my waiter asked if there was a problem. I showed him and he took it away in a paper napkin and took my plate. We sat there in complete shock. And disgusted. If anyone had checked my food before it went out they would have clearly seen in the bug too. When the manager arrived I told him I would pay for my drinks but was not paying for any food. He kept saying they found out it was the produce which leads me to think they possibly found more in the coleslaw. It was OBVIOUS nothing on my plate was made/served fresh or recently cooked. He asked if he could get us something else, I declined and we walked right out. This was absolutely inexcusable experience. I hope from now on, all food ordered there is cooked CORRECTLY and CHECKED before going out to costumers.
