Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I am absolutely appalled with what I saw here tonight. There were two young ladies working and a young man working. My date and myself were enjoying our blizzards when a mother and her disabled son came into the building. This sweet young man walks in jovially to order and to my disgust I see what may be the manager (rotund white woman) and the young man (tall black man with curly shoulder length hair) giggling at the young man’s expense. I was immediately visibly upset, but my partner told me I may be overreaching and overthinking. While at the counter the young’s man’s possibly mother was taking a bit to order, so he inquired about the wifi password. After some time extended back and forth the young man gets his blizzard and leaves, with his mother following behind. After they had exited my partner and I stayed for a moment and I heard the three of them mocking the young man in his attempts to get the password. I was so enraged and disgusted I couldn’t even finish my ice cream. Before I could confront the workers two families had entered and my partner suggested to just leave instead. I truthfully hope no one continues to patronize this establishment, and to the employees, I hope you feel as feeble in your life as you try to project onto the people around you. I arrived at 9:40pm (like normally do) I a chocolate ice cream cone and blizzard (everything was fine) They tell me my total and ask me to drive to the window great. . They open the window and give me my blizzard but regret to inform me they had JUST cleaned their chocolate ice cream machine (allegedly)…. but when I ordered 4 minutes ago it was okay & available. 7/10 times I come to this store the ice cream machine is down.. being clean…”just exploded everywhere” or down. It’s is very aggravating to drive there… waste my gas for them to “close up” early. I worked at sonic for 3 years… where we are running just as much ice cream as DQ and never had problems we couldn’t work through… there is no problem in having a bad day or a machine being down. But this is a constant… and a pattern which is creating a bad narrative for this DQ. I will say I have no problems when I attend this establishment during the day but at night I literally can never get what I order.I will add—- the service is always very nice and respectful.. but it’s the simple fact of DQ not serving to its full service . Just wanted to post this review and let people know...... This is the dairy Queen you want to get your ice cream cakes from!!! I posted a review of the dairy Queen on legion Rd. And let's just say it wasn't a rave review. This DQ however is amazing!! I received so much help, the young lady that assisted me was great! The cake that I ordered was absolutely perfect inside and out! We moved here about a year and a half ago, have always bought DQ cakes for birthdays and special occasions. Totally dissappointed with the prior DQ we had used, seriously thought we weren't going to be able to buy DQ cakes ANYMORE!! 😞 But this one was everything we expected from a DQ!! Please,don't waste your time and money going anywhere else. The cake for my daughter's birthday was just beautiful and made like it was supposed to be!! So happy with this location,will definitely be getting all our cakes from here!!! Thanks DQ...
