The family and I decided to try this place on Father's Day. This is by far the worse place in Fayetteville, NC to dine. We had a 30 minute wait for 3 of us when you can see empty tables. I was not bothered by the wait because they were a little busy with it being a holiday. We started with our order of drinks, and the server finally brought them out to us with very little ice in the glasses. The server visited the table across from us 4 times prior to receiving any food. I had an empty glass where he could see it each time. I finally had to flag him down and ask for a refill. He comes back with another glass with little ice and the drink was warm. I immediately asked for a glass of ice, and it took several minutes to get it to the table. We had plenty of time waiting to figure out what we wanted to eat. We placed our order with the drinks. My wife's and son's order arrive to the table, and my order was not with it. The server said it was coming right out. I tried the onion rings, and it was mush, and I immediately sent them back because it was mush inside. My family went ahead and ate their dinner and finished while I waited. 30 minutes later, my meal arrives. I peeled the steamed shrimp, and it was grossly overcooked. I told the server to take it back and remove it from my bill. The manager came to the table and told that she took my dinner off the bill and that she could not remove the onion rings from the bill. She further stated its company policy about "NO REFUNDS" on orders in the restaurant. Couples minutes later, the server came back and asked me if I was ready for my check. I responded that I should not have one because my family ate before my meal even arrived which I did not even eat. He told me it was not his fault because the kitchen was behind. I had to spend 28.00 for 3 three of us which included: 2 appetizers, fish basket, 2 drinks, and water. Server told me they ate so I had to pay for it. I will never go back to this place nor reccomend it to anyone. I wish I read the reviews on Yelp!...
Read moreWhy in the universe is it that this restaurant that really had it going on. Business was booming. Everyone loves the food.
The owners goes and raises the prices, reduce the portions, stop serving incredibly great french fries and start serving blan no appeal or good tasting fries. Take away the option of customers paying an extra $1 to order sweet potato fries instead. Change the mix for the boil. Now serving watered-down sauce. Oh yeah! Now skimping on the egg. If you don't ask for it they exclude it in your boul bag.
Why! Why! If it's not broken don't fix it.
I was just there two weeks ago. Everything was beautiful. Came back today and things have changed and not for the best.
I called back after getting home and opening my order. I suggested that they leave the food as it was and raise the price yet another $1. The lady who answered the phone said oh no we can only raise it $.99 more. She said they need to take care of themselves. They could save money on the large bags they are still using with less food in it.
For some ungodly reason this seems to be common practice with many restaurants here in Fayetteville.
My goodness you can go to any McDonald's and know the taste or portions will be exactly the same. It's so annoying and frustrating dealing with such practices.
Where I come from we had restaurants that have been past to generations after generations. The flavor or portions haven't changed.Only the prices due to inflation.
If this business does not get back to their previous way of conducting business it is not going to survive and they can't blame it on Covit-19.
Two weeks ago I would have rated it a five 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 restaurant. I am now in search of a new seafood...
Read moreThis is a MUST eat at place. Wow! So we ordered the 8pc chicken basket ($8) comes with fries, 2 orders of fries ($3each), and did a make your own combo of with 1lb of crawfish 1 lb of snow crab legs (3 clusters) and 1lb of shrimp (large size) all was ($52) with 5 drinks came to $79.56.
The chicken fingers were a little bland but the kids loved them. Decent sized we split the basket for 3 toddlers. The seafood comes in a bag and you can pick the seasoning. Was amazing! Very delicious and will definitely go back!! They seafood come with a couple of potatoes, sausage, corn cobs, and an egg(first time ever with an egg). But was very tasty!
The hostess was quick with seating, no wait on a Friday night even tho they were packed. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, kept our drinks full and table cleared of trash.
The atmosphere is very family friendly and or adults works for either. Not too loud. Theres a few TVs too. They have spacious booths and tables and a bar seating area. The decor is some crabs in nets and then writing all over the wall. Like youd expect at a crab joint. Very clean and spacious everywhere. Every table has paper down, paper towels, and a trash bucket for shells.
Definitely go check them out. It's cheaper than Joe's and red lobster and tastier! Yum!!
Edit to add they lost a star bc we got our fries then about 10mins later got the kids food then about 10ish or 15mins later got ours. So our kids were almost done eating by time we...
