Hong Kong — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I vividly remember 2018 during the hurricane, all the customers were there holding up their phones to light up the kitchen. Incredibly hard work. The food was delicious, had Mongolian Beef speciality plate and damn near fell in love. I’ve tried it everywhere since then and it just isn’t the same. Ordered here on Monday evening and it is absolutely not the same dish. Skimpy on the meat. The style that they cut the meat has changed many times. This has never been a spicy dish but for whatever reason it had red pepper flakes and was spicy. I don’t get it. The teriyaki sticks are good. But you can tell many different chefs, new owner, new recipes. It’s not the same. And we would drive all the way from Raeford area to eat here and it just disappoints everytime since my original visits.

I have been to almost every Chinese place in my general area. This one is the furthest from me and id rather drive here than any other one i have tried.

Their food is consistently great, the people who've taken my order have all been nice. Literally one of the only Chinese places i have been to where they smile.

My husband agrees, he says we have been to at least one other place that was good but this one is the only one that has been consistent. Their sweet and sour chicken sauce is also different than all the other places, and its his favorite to order.

Eating chinese food on our days off is a great tradition that we hold in this house and i am happy that we have a place that we can trust to give us good food when we want to take a break from cooking after work.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant, I highly recommended them and always went there, last two times the male owner was super rude, I ordered and his wife who’s very nice forgot to write down I wanted pork fried rice, I said I order pork fried rice and he was like you didn’t say that when you order, give me a dollar, I said I don’t mind paying, he said just write it on the tip line so I did. His wife came and sorry she did I forgot to write it down he still had an attitude with me no apology nothing, then I go back today, he was rude didn’t greet me nothing. So I won’t be back, I couldn’t believe how mean and nasty he was, when I’m a regular customer and always polite and respectful! Done...
