Feena's — Restaurant in Fayetteville

First off, do not be afraid to come here because of the stereotype of "the murch" being dangerous and not a place to take kids, etc. Feena's is in a large shopping center directly across from Fayetteville State University. It's bright, open, and friendly. I've heard people use that as an excuse not to come so don't let the location hold you back! Also, I'll explain more later but they are extremely affordable at roughly $5 for a medium which is a large fast food drink cup filled ABOVE the brim.

OK. Down to business: The frulattos at Feena's are top five hidden gems in Fayetteville. I honestly can't think of another food item that is absolutely irreplaceable with a similar place in or out of the area. Ever had a fruit-flavored ice cream and thought "Geeze I wish this tasted more like the fruit"? Say less. Feena's has got you. Ever had a frozen dessert and thought "I wish this was refreshing instead of so heavy"? Feena's 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 on 👏🏻 it 👏🏻. She enthusiastically hands out samples of her fantastic creations while she informs all customers of how she creates such magic. No additives, no preservatives, no dairy; just fresh in-house juiced fruit sweetened with cane sugar and magically transformed into a sweet tooth-satisfying concoction that will have you yearning for more before you even finish it.

It's hard picking a favorite, but the strawberry, mango, banana, and cantaloupe will have you regret every time you could have gone to Feena's and didn't. I have to laugh that I tried to think of a favorite and couldn't narrow it down more than FOUR.

Twice I've brought people here who had seen such glowing reviews and thought "How could it be that good?" only to take one bite and also bite their tongue for doubting and not coming sooner!

Trust me here and now when I say you will not regret trying Feena's frulattos and will keep coming back for more. Could this possible get better, you ask? Surely these magic potions must cost an arm and a leg! Surprise: THEY'RE ONE OF THE CHEAPEST SWEET TREATS YOU CAN GET!!! A medium - which can hold up to three flavors - is $5 and change. You get twice as much frozen treat goodness as you'd get at a place like Sweet Frog, but much tastier and for half the price! Feena is a magician. Fact.

This was our first time here, and she made sure to make us feel welcomed like we had been here before. I felt like I was at a family member's house after she started conversing with us 😄 She gave us free samples of frulato to try, and the flavors blew our minds! 🍉🥭🍓🍈 This is the best fruit-based frozen dessert that I have had in this city!! 🤩 The flavors taste like the purest form of each fruit, and the texture is perfect. I was transported to an extreme state of joy 😍

We were extremely surprised by the affordable prices! We paid a little under $15 for two large frulatos, which hold a LOT! I got mango, strawberry, watermelon, and four berries, and I believe he got the same with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom 😋 YES! She will let you put a scoop of ice cream at the bottom. It's too good 👍🏾

Even if their “frulato” (fruit gelato) was not smooth and tasty AF (which it was), I’d still be giving Feena’s 5 stars.

In this case, an exceptional customer experience is enough to attract 5 stars and inspire a review.

Firstly, Feena, the owner and face of the business, is just a hoot! She’s personable and bubbly and generous. Before I knew what had happened I had tasted 5 different flavors and was telling her my life story.

FWIW - I personally loved their cantaloupe and mango flavors.

But the real clincher here was when I asked her how well the ice cream would travel as I’d love to take some back for my kids but it was a 90 min drive back to Durham. While she didn’t have any insulated bags on hand, that didn’t stop her from getting creative and resourceful to help me get Fayetteville’s best gelato back to the triangle.
