Had an extremely poor experience and was treated horribly after spending $70 that night. If it were not for my mother’s blood sugar dropping and wanting the food we had already ordered, I would’ve gave that cashier a piece of my mind in the most despicable manner and demanded my money back. Also my children were in the backseat, if I had’ve responded to the worker the same way she treated us, I would have just ruined everyone’s night so I held my composure. I’ve reached out via email 3 weeks ago, called corporate and never received any feedback. Now I have to make it publicly known.
You can read the email I sent them starting here. ➡️ I am a new customer with Jason’s Deli. My children and I truly enjoy the uniqueness of the menu and quality of the food. On December 22nd, around 6 pm, my family and I visited our local Jason’s Deli at 2707 Freedom Pkwy, here in Fayetteville, NC. This was my 3rd time visiting. Unfortunately, this go around, my experience was extremely negative. (Any visit prior was never great considering friendliness, but not flat out rude either). The cashier was very rude to me without logical reasoning. It was upsetting because I had spent about $70 on an order just to be left feeling like it was foolish to spend this amount of money here and be treated this way. Because of this experience, I feel like it would be unwise for me to return. Despite how much we like their food, the cashier has really reduced my perception of the restaurant.
Upon pulling into the drive through, I sat for a couple of minutes at the intercom speaker before the cashier would take my order. I had to ask “hello is anyone there”, in order to be acknowledged. We were the only car in line. After ordering the food, she gave me the total. I let her know that I wasn’t quite finished ordering yet and would like to also purchase drinks and told her one of the drinks I wanted (half and half sweet and unsweet tea), but was again met with silence. I pulled up to the window and asked if she heard me on the drink portion of the order. She immediately becomes rude, dismissive and begins exuding snarky behavior. She answers “yes, I heard you” with an eye roll and hand gesture”…but then proceeds to ask me what drink I wanted. ??? 😐I asked her what fountain drink options they have and she sharply answers “Coke products”. I then told her that I still don’t know what that means my options are and asked if she could just tell me what Coke products they have. She begins loud talking me and continues to be snappy. I am not a big soda drinker nor am I familiar with all drinks manufactured by Coke. At that point, I had to ask for her manager. After being helped by the manager, they still didn’t include pickles with any of the sandwich meals ordered. By then, I just accepted my fate with them. Read moreFirst of all, I normally don't leave feedback. This will be my second review ever, and I'm 60 years old. My complaint is employee attitude, customer service and forgotten items on order.
30 days prior to this order I ordered 4 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips were missing. I called Jason's and the employee stated that they were crediting $5.00 back to my credit card. 30 days later and I still haven't received the credit!
This newest order (attached receipt) was completely off. You can see from the items marked yellow, were items not put on the sandwich or not in my order.
I called Jason's and explained to the lady what was left off, and she stated (not nice!) they could credit my card. I explained to her that I still haven't received credit for the last issue. She stated (not nice!) that I could bring the sandwich back. (45 minutes round trip).
Went back to Jason's and started to explain the problem, 1st item no yellow peppers (Italian Peppers yellow on menu) on sandwich. She stopped me rudely and stated that they didn't have yellow peppers on the menu, only red peppers. She didn't know because another employee came up and told her that there was yellow peppers on the menu. After that I started to explain to her the problem with the 2nd item and she stopped me again (not nice) and stated that we can just make the sandwich again!.
No very happy at this point and as many items that were missing on the second item I didn't think they could make it right, so I told her to give me the yellow peppers that they didn't have, and credit my card for the other sandwich.
So while waiting for her to credit my card ( manager was called because she didn't know how to do it) I stood there waiting and was looking at my old receipt and the lady took my credit receipt and just put it down in front of me without saying anything and started waiting on a customer. I had to ask her if everything was finished. She stated yes- period! no sorry for your inconvenience or have a good day----- and I checked the receipt when I got home and noticed that they kept the tip!

Read moreI rarely ever write reviews but I really can not stand the Cashier Caitlin she is horrible my first encounter with her as I was ordering my food she wasnbeing impatient since i was asking my toddler what did he want to drink it was not busy at all for a lunch hour . her actions towards me was as if i was ruining her time from gossiping with a woman manager i gave her cash and she skimmed me $1 which is dumb but I guess she really needed the manager on top of that she was in a hurry to get me out of her way as if i was bothering her so I shrugged ot off as i also disnt a recieve a reicpt for my order i went back to her since i knew she she didnt give me the reciept nor the correct change she had a attitude aswell didnt tell me nothing when i asked for the reciept after that as my child was having a melt down and again not busy as the lunch hour went down compeltely she gave me a attitude since i had her waiting there holding a reciept in her hand called out to me and ignored me after i told her thank you nor did i approach her horrible i used to work in restuarants and ik when to pick and choose your battles like i saod i do not know what i ever did to this girl from the time i walked in i came in politely asked a few question and boom attitude as i wrote thos review i see her texting on her phone ag 1:30 pm on a thrusday today is the 10th of January . o called over a manger he resolved the issue for my change after that today as i come in again it was bisy bit capmed down she walked completely by me as she was busing tables wiping eberyones table expect my own but she did see me order right next to alicia the other cashier was not a busy line . she walked by my table many times nefore i called someone over . to clean it. Everyone else i love here they are friendlh expect this one girl I dread seeing ber face...
