Ordered online at 6:12 pm for a 7:15 pm pick up. When I got to the restaurant they had my order ready but only 1 of the 7 items I ordered was in the bag. The white lady with the blond hair working the take out counter got my bag from another nice lady at the take out counter, made a frustrated sigh and walked to the back. She returned to the front to talk to me and proceeded to basically blame the mess up on the new staff and give me usless information about the hot vs cold food. She stated that I had to wait for them to prepare all of my food. I asked her how long because I placed the order over an hour ago, she proceeds to tell me that it was only 3 minutes past my pickup. Once again I reiterated that I ordered an hour in advance and wanted to know how much longer the wait would be. She stated that she did not know because they havent been open long and the staff is new. I told her that if it takes longer than 15 mins then I would like to cancel the order. About 5 minutes later she called me to the counter to retrieve my food. She impatiently watched with an obvious attitude while I checked my items. I told her that I was given the wrong side, it should be fries instead of potato salad. She grabbed the bag, checked my receipt and walked off. She returned 1 minute later with the fries that I ordered, which was dumped out in the bag. She did not offer an apology, didnt even utter a word. She watched me try fix the fried in the bag, grab my other items and leave. This location is conveniently located 6 mins from my house, but I will never return there. Brisket sandwich was tasty and the buns are soft, but there is a good amount of fat attached to the brisket and is hard to pull off until you take a bite and start chewing then you have to spit out what you are chewing to pull the fat off, then put the food back in your mouth. It’s easier to see the fat on the brisket when you order it by the slice instead of on a sandwich. The sandwich deal was cheaper though. Everything had good smoked barbecue flavor.
The wings are tasty, but they are jumbo and we don’t like jumbo wings.
The ribs are delicious. I like their sauce, it’s the right consistency and flavor tasting homemade. I like the fresh pickles on the plate.
Fries, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans were all wonderful. Oh my-those cheddar little biscuits are A1.
I wanted something sweet, but their two desserts weren’t my type.
Decent menu options and decent pricing. A high-level consistent barbecue spot makes sense over here and I believe they’ll do well. The other mom and pop barbecue spot up the road can’t compete with this big chain. They’d have to step up their appearance and reduce pricing. I recommend this place...
Read moreI placed an online order between 11:00–11:10 AM, and the confirmation indicated that it would be ready in approximately 15–20 minutes. When I arrived at 11:37 AM, after waiting to almost 12pm I was informed that there was no chicken ready and it would take another 15–20 minutes. As someone who only has a 30-minute lunch break, this delay created a significant inconvenience. What was most disappointing is that I was not informed of the extended wait time when I first checked in, nor was the online ordering system updated to reflect the delay. Additionally, when I requested a refund, I was told I could not receive a receipt or any written confirmation because the order was placed online. Soo where is my refund ???? As of today, I still have not received the refund. I even contacted another store location to verify, and they mentioned the situation sounded unusual. I truly enjoy your food and normally appreciate your service, but this experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I kindly ask for confirmation and resolution of my refund, as well as for consideration in improving communication and customer accommodations in situations like this. Thank you for your time...
