Not sure where the other reviews, were reviewing, but it definitely wasn't this place!! I went tonight, and let's just say this will be my ONE & ONLY time. Where do I begin...I order 2 beef bulgogi plates, popcorn chicken, fries and 3 mochinuts. The beef bulgogi, was alright. The kimchi was the first time having it, so can't really judge. Determined I wasn't a fan of it. The macaroni salad was very questionable...my husband tried it first and said something tasted fishy about it. So I gave it a try and said something does taste fishy, I picked through it and found tuna fish in it. NO WHERE does it state that there is any kind of fish in the macaroni salad. And to top it off, the salad was warm. Hopefully I don't get sick from it. Anyways...onto my daughters food, the fries she said was, okay. She then opened the popcorn chicken and gave a disgusting look. I was like let me see, it looked to me like they where fried livers. My husband tried them, and said no they're chicken. The picture attached is of the popcorn chicken. Onto the mochinuts, you've had one mochinut, you basically can say you've had them all. Other than the toppings, they taste the same anywhere you go. The place wasn't busy at all, and I can see why...I don't think this place will be in business for to long. Friendliness isn't going to keep a...
Read moreStopped by the drive-thru of Maxwell’s Mochi on a whim today. I was positively charmed with the entire experience. Not only was the food delicious across the menu, the entire experience was fast, friendly, and enjoyable.
The Mochi donuts were delicate, pillowy soft, and bursting with flavor. We sampled (from left to right) the hazelnut crunch, birthday cake, and passionfruit. In addition to tasting heavenly they were so aesthetically pleasing and cute to look at!
The Japchae Glass Noodles with beef came out warm and the noodles were that perfect sticky texture with generous portions of beef, mushroom, carrots, and onion toppings.
I also tried the Korean Hot Dog who was the true SHOWSTOPPER of the menu. In every bite you got the crunchiness of the rice coating containing all the juiciness of the hot dog. The dipping sauce was a perfect balance of spicry and sweet.
10/10 delicate -...
Read moreDuring my visit to Fayetteville, North Carolina, I discovered a gem called Maxwell's Mochi, thanks to my girlfriend's recommendation. I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, and the cheese and lemonade were delightful. The service was impeccable, and I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the women from the kitchen who came out to greet us. Her positive energy truly enhanced the experience. This quaint spot is a hidden treasure, and I highly recommend giving it a try. It may be a hole-in-the-wall, but once you step inside, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the incredible customer service—I will definitely be back! (Her name is Mrs. Nae - Tell her the Ladies with the Locs and...
