We pulled up tonight, Sunday evening about 830 pm. The line was long at the drive through so you expect a small wait time. The truck ahead of me pulled forward but wansnt room for me to pull to the order area. The employee on drive thru proceeded to say"welcome to taco Bell can I help you" I couldn't get close enough to respond, so waited about 5 minutes, then pulled up to order. I sat (in silence)for over 8 minutes! No greeting, no sound, NOTHING. A few more minutes and I finally pulled forward, without ordering because the several attempts I made to connect to anyone inside was unanswered. There was a growing line behind me as well. I get to the window where I got ignore again for over 2 minutes, when she came to the window and I told her what happened and why... She responded" Huh? ?! ?! I greeted you a while ago and you never answered me!! " There are SOOO many things wrong in this situation, I can barely contain myself! If you haven't any desire to help, make happy and serve the public, DON'T!!! This young girl who worked the drive thru on MLK, Sunday evening, HAD NO BUSINESS WORKING In customer ANYTHING!!!! If your a manager of that taco Bell, please teach your employees how to treat a situation courteously and efficiently! I left hungry, unsatisfied and APPAULED by the lack of any hint of customer service. I won't go back to this store unless something changes radically. I have worked and managed in custom service for more than 20 years, and I would use her as a good example of terrible customer...
Read moreMy husband & Uber eat driver's. I have never in my life seen a bipolar restaurant. But this one is bipolar. Store manager is more concerned about being friends with his workers and letting him do whatever they want then actually running the restaurant correctly. It started out where you can if your Dasher you go in to the counter and you get your orders. Then the shift lead got pissed off through everybody out of the the restaurant and made us wait 45 minutes in line to get our order then it was gone because apparently it only stays on the screen for 45 minutes. Call the store manager and he's like oh well we're keeping it open 24/7 now even taking orders. Then it was closed at 3:00 a.m. so we started going through drive-thru then they get pissy at us because we're going through drive-thru instead of coming in but we were told they were closing at 3:00 a.m. now. As of tonight they say that they're closing at midnight every night the doors and you have to go through drive-thru. This location is so bipolar they need medication cuz it's making my head spin like I should be an extra on the poltergeist. Manager needs to stop being buddy buddy with the workers and actually make them do their jobs. There's only one worker there that does his job does it correctly and is very friendly. I believe his name is Corey. He's the only one that acts like...
Read moreWhile I've had average experiences here, yesterday was not great.
I ordered a build-your-own box on the app (which I had to redownload because it was glitching out) and made some modifications- notably removing tomatoes and sour cream from everything and adding Mexican Pizza Sauce (which I highly recommend, at least if they add it). When I ordered, 2/4 of my food had sour cream, which I do not like. I have social anxiety, so usually when they forget it on a single item I just throw it away, like I have done on a previous visit here. But with the majority of the volume of my food wrong, I had to get it replaced. Then, once the manager replaced them, they just made the standard ones without sour cream. In other words, they added tomatoes, which I don't like but can deal with, and forgot the Mexican Pizza sauce that I paid an extra like $0.15 for. I didn't want to go through all that stress again so I just suffered through. (And I handed them my receipt with the order clearly written on it and that they had clearly read multiple times after handing it to them).
Aside from this experience, there's also the ridiculously increased prices (75% higher that it was this time a year ago) and the stress of dealing with the traffic on MLK. Just a year ago I was in another city eating Taco Bell 3-4 times a week, but now it just...
