Worst experience EVER! We drove 9 hours and stopped to stay overnight before we continued home. We were told about this Ruby Tuesday’s so we decided to go eat there. Took them 10 minutes to acknowledge we were standing at the door 7 in our group. Then another 5 minutes to seat us it’s 7:45 at night maybe 3 other tables in there that had people sitting down. We get back to our table. The waitress seemed she was miserable and even worse that we were there. Guess because she actually had to work. Very rude when taking the order. Spoke in slang. Took her 10 minutes just to bring our drinks back. For the whole order to come 25 minutes and the chicken tenders were over cooked one so bad couldn’t eat it. Had to ask her for refills on our drinks which took another 10 mins. She never came back to ask if we needed anything or was everything ok. Another waitress even helped her bring the food out which her customer services wasn’t any better. I had to clear the appetizer dishes and cups off our table to have room. When we were finished, we were waiting for the waitress so we could get our check. Another waitress was asked were our waitress was she didn’t know had to go look for her. My mother n law went up to the cashiers table and finally the waitress came in and ask you would like your check? She was told no she just wanted to pay for the meal.. I spoke to the manager and finally found out our waitress was Amanda. Was never told our waitress’s name until we advised the manager of the unsatisfactory experience we endured. Amanda and this restaurant needs to get it together! Not to mention, but I am! one waitress was even talking about edibles and gummy’s to get you high to another customer! I would beware of going here. If you don’t mind eating your time and clearing your own table and having poor excuse services then go here! Otherwise stay away or corporate come in here and change the people...
Read more4th time in a row my order arrived LAST and LATE. Everyone else at the table was done eating by the time mine arrived. This time however, it NEVER ARRIVED. It's become the group joke. So they offered me my dinner to go at a discount. I sat there while the other 8 people ate and I sucked on a sugar packet. My order was not complicated. (It never is complicated) I ordered the cheese burger sliders and fries. Out of 9 of us ordering, I was the 5th person to order. The server even asked all our names. They came out to check for drink refills and clearly saw I was the only person at the table without food. I asked that they bring ketchup also when my order is ready. Still... another 20 minutes passed. Still no food. Everyone else at our table is finished eating. AGAIN!!!!!! So, the server apologized and offered to give it to me to go at a discount. I declined. I was starving. One of the women at my table told her she should at least allow me to make a salad at the salad bar so I could eat too and given the fact this was the 4th time in a row this has happened to me, they should not charge me for the salad. The server agreed. So, I made a small salad. I'm not a fan of salad but at least it put something into my growling stomach. Management should have come out and spoke to us. So do the folks at Ruby Tuesday hate people with red hair? I have to wonder. I'm always polite. I never order anything with special instructions. I keep it simple. 4th time in a row this has happened to me at this same location. Different servers. I think it's time to convince my friends to go elsewhere. They all made jokes, but they all felt bad for me. My feelings are hurt. I have no understanding of this. Maybe next time the group wants to go there, I should bring a peanutbutter sandwich with me so I can actually eat with them instead of merely watching everyone else eat. My money should have mattered to them...
Read moreWe felt like we were on an episode of Larry David’s, Curb Your Enthusiasm. 3 of us walked in at approximately 8:30pm after driving more than 12 hours. We were thrilled to see 3 tv’s on at the bar area, wanting to watch the Celtics game. After waiting a couple minutes to be seated, we asked the hostess if we could either sit at the bar or at a booth at the bar. She promptly replied that we couldn’t because the bartender was “overwhelmed” since she was making all the drinks, handling takeout, and serving food to the patrons in the bar area. The man right before us was given a booth at the bar. There were several open booths. We decided to just do as we were told because we were hungry, reluctantly taking a table about 20 feet away from the bar. During our meal, we took turns walking over to check scores. For the entire time we were there, we didn’t see any take-out orders. 2 men who came in after us were able to get 2 seats at the bar. Even after the bar emptied out, with a total of 4 people in the area, my husband asked the hostess if we could move. She still wouldn’t allow us to sit there, stating the bartender needed to “catch up”. Our waitress was.very nice, but she also said she couldn’t do anything about it because the hostess said no. The irony is that the bartender still had to do the same amount of work by getting our drinks, no matter where we were sitting. One of us got the salad bar, so no food was served to him. If this was truly an episode on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David would have gotten kicked out for questioning why he couldn’t sit where he...
