Food was excellent but drove 18 minutes to and 18 minutes back to find that we received one wrong burger, which happens and I wasn't upset about it. That is until I went back to get the correct burger and the owner argued with me, stating he knows he made the correct burger. I responded that I wasn't questioning that he did, just that it didn't get in to my bag. He reprinted the receipt from his computer, after declining my handing him the receipt I had in hand, and showed me that the Carolina Burger was on my order. I responded again, yes it is, but there was a Hula Burger in the bag. He questioned why then the person that ordered the Hula Burger hadn't called in. Then blamed me for the mix up at least 3 times - I put 7 orders in to be picked up when he has a lunch rush (our company takes lunch 1PM - 2 PM), he didn't like the sequence of how the order was placed and I didn't leave time for him to process the order (I ordered it more than an hour ahead). And then he said he would go ahead and make a fresh burger for me- that's what I would expect. I worked in food management 30 years and can honestly say I never laid blame for an order mix up on the customer. There was not even an offer of a free drink to make up for the inconvenience or an apology for their error. Sadly, as great as the food was, there are 7 people who won't be...
Read moreReally good flame grilled burger. Just got the Cheeseburger Togo. I didn't know about Will's and went to the place next door because that's where I thought the chargrill smell was coming from. Ordered next door and wasn't least bit impressed. Looked up Wills and saw it had the flame cooked burgers. So we went over and ordered another burger and it was delicious. Scarfed it down. Wish I was hungry enough to try more. Hint to owners, put up a banner facing the road, either on the side of the building or on the rails that says "Hand Pattied Fresh Flame Broiled or Cooked or Chargrilled Burgers" I bet 99 out of 100 people that drive into the other place don't know what you cook or how you cook it and your scent from cooking is attributed to the other place. Perfect opportunity to let folks know what you do. I thought it was a sandwich shop or something, not a specialty burger joint. Make the interior a little old timey with black and white pics of old burger joints and stuff maybe. The outside decorations makes it seem maybe Italian or Greek even. Either way this is where I would go for a burger anytime I was in Fayetteville....
Read moreWas in the area and decided to check this place out on a whim. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, a fried egg, and chili with chili cheese fries on the side. If you don't get one of their signature burgers then be aware you will pay atleast 50¢ for ingredients like lettuce and 75¢ for more premium toppings like a fried egg. Depending on what you build the price of the burger can rise quickly. Anyway, back to my food--everything was cooked to order so that was nice but overall the burger didn't knock my socks off. The bun was soggy from the chili before it made it to the table, which was disappointing. Something to consider if getting a wet topping, the buns aren't toasted. The chili cheese fries were pretty good, but I got them with shredded cheese instead of the default nacho cheese option. Overall, if you just get the $6.50 hamburger and make it a combo for an extra $3.00 you might not be to disappointed. If you pay for a few extra premium toppings and premium fry toppings, you may find yourself alittle underwhelmed...
