Called in a Doordash order at 6:25 PM. They close at 7. Shouldn't be a problem, right? I thought so since they accepted the order and allowed the Doordasher to drive all the way there before deciding they suddenly didn't want to complete my simple 2 meal order. The dasher was literally standing inside the store and sent me a picture of the guy standing behind the counter, perfectly capable of making 2 meals in the time it took for him to get there. The Dasher asked me to call the store and I did and the guy was rude from the beginning of the conversation calling me stupid and telling me they didn't have to do anything and what was I going to do? So I (and the Dasher) called Doordash and reported him and somehow my refund showed up right after I got off the phone.
Don't accept my order if you're going to be lazy and try to take my money!
Edit after response from owner: Doordash allows you to set a cutoff time so that you don't receive orders past a certain time. USE IT. You accepted my order. End of discussion on timing as far as I'm concerned. I will NOT be changing my review as I am "too stupid" to know how, right? You acted a fool to a paying customer and now you have to live with the consequences. I understand people have bad days but I gave you 2 chances to do right and you interrupted me while I talked, called me stupid and worse of all, made a Doordash driver drive to your location for nothing. He got NOTHING for that time spent! And now you want to fake apologize and blame the mall hours? This is unacceptable. Learn your lesson and do...
Read moreTL;DL: Owner didn't answer phone and got rude when I said I ordered food online but was fine with just ordering and waiting (their info wasn't accurate) so I ended up not ordering food.
I called and no one picked up, so I ordered through their Google business "order for pickup" option (Postmates was the first option offered on their Google page)
I arrive and they tell me they never got an order and that they don't work with Postmates. I apologized for the confusion and proceed to place the order in person and was going to just wait for it to be ready. I didn't think anything of it. Not the first time a business had online ordering that wasn't accurate.
But as I'm getting ready to pay, the owner starts being super condescending and telling me that "you should just order from the restaurant or come in person if you want food".
I tell him I did call but no one picked up. "then call 2 or 3 times."
I decided I didn't want to give them my money. They could have simply said they don't order through Postmates, update their own Google business account, and take my money instead of being super rude to me...
Read moreThis is probably the worst Middle Eastern place I have eaten at in the Puget Sound. Food taste pre-cooked/pre-frozen and is bland. The worst part is the customer service. The guy behind the counter behaves like a thug and treated me like garbage. He ended up giving me the wrong order, either that, or he was out of all the things I ordered, as he was pretty much out of stock of many things I wanted , such as falafel, rice, etc. So, I ordered Kafta Kabab with hummus and he gives me Gyro and Tzatziki. The Tzatziki tasted like mayonnaise with some bland spices. I told him I did not order this and I wanted what I ordered and then he insults me saying I wasted his time and just was babbling and he couldn't understand my babbling. I end up leaving my meal on the counter and walked away.
Please go somewhere else, as being treated like garbage for such low-grade middle eastern fast food is...
