Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Federal Way

I have never ordered from Buffalo Wild and this might be the only order. We live about 10 minutes from a Buffalo Wild Wings. My son said Wingstop is better but he got overruled by the others that were here.

The kids have said that they have had Wings from there and loved them. Well maybe it might be a lot different in the store. But they did not travel well at all. We had 3 extra kids also so ordered a bit. I ordered there 20-20 Wings. So 20 Boneless and 20 bone in wings. We got a mix of flavors Asian Zing, Honey BBQ, Parmesan Garlic and Sweet BBQ. With the side of Carrots and Celery, Ranch Dressing and a Basket of Fries. Ordered another 20 Boneless wings with Parmesan Garlic and Sweet BBQ with Ranch A Basket of Onion Rings with the Southwestern sauce Basket of Chees Curds 4 Extra Ranch Sauces 1 order of street Tacos with Cilantro, Parmesan Garlic, Pico de Gallo and Southwestern Ranch. The order first said ready in 16 minutes on Door dash for pickup. Then when I went in 10 minutes later and looked again it now changed to 62 to 72 minutes. Once I clicked the order for checkout it told me 6:50 pm it would be ready. So that was an hour and 10 minutes. My wife was out running around and we were timing it so she would be done and swing by and get them. At 6:15 I finally got and update from Door dash that Buffalo wild wings has excepted the order and it would be ready at 6:30 to 6:35 pm. So 20 minutes earlier. My wife got there right at 6:30 and the order was not ready yet. They got it done a few minutes after she got there.

For the food quality I would rate it maybe a 2 star but that would be pushing it so I am rating it a 1. The 20 + 20 wings with Vegetables and Basket of Fries. I like my wings crispy and these were far from crispy or really flavor full. The Carrots and Celery that I added were non existent and not put in the order. The Asian Wings were a ok but not great. The Honey BBQ didn’t have much of either honey or BBQ. The Parmesan Garlic were the best of the bunch and had good flavor and some crispness. The Sweet BBQ I did not get any sweet or BBQ from. And the Fries well I have had better from the worst drive through restaurant ever. They were soft flimsy and flavorless. The second order of 20 wings was charged and never put in the bag. So a really big fail there. When I called the restaurant they wanted to get my number and put me on a list for a free order next time. I gave her my number 4 times and she still did not get it right. I gave her my name three times and she still did not get it right. Well I said never mind I will deal with Door dash on the credit. Got a response from them and they credited the amount back. The Basket of Rings were ok but not great. There was more of the batter sitting in the box of overcooked onion rings then there was on the rings themselves. They did not travel well or just not good at the store either. Not sure on that one and will not be in one of their stores to find out. I was not sure if they were fresh rings or Frozen but in would consider frozen ones from Costco have more flavor. The Basket of Chees Curds I was told to order them with Caramel but that was not an option at all on the menu. In fact if could not put any instructions on any of the items for order. They were not bad but did not travel well either. Those might be ok in the store dinning. They got the 4 extra ranches and the kids devoured them. The order of Street Tacos were a mess. None of the chicken was in the tacos anymore. I did not see any Cilantro and the Pico de Gallo and Southwestern sauce was a mess. This had the best flavor of all the order and was not even something that is their Specialty. Overall I would not go back. I was not even impressed enough to think that the food would be better in the store. The flavors were just not there...

I’ve been going to BWW for years, and I don’t normally come to this one too often...and I absolutely WILL NOT be returning.

We showed up an hour before the NBA Finals so we caught them when they were slow. We were seated immediately and my girlfriend ordered a lemonade and I ordered a water. She got her lemonade quickly and my water took a little longer, but that didn’t bother me (I’m honestly pretty dang patient). We patiently understood our server as she was just a week new to her job, but nothing got better... It took us a long time to order our appetizers, then once we painfully wolfed those down (mini corn dogs...I’ve had better from Foster Farms frozen foods🤷🏼‍♂️) we ordered our food. I double checked to make sure it was 70 cent Thursday and our waitress says, “Um...I’m not sure I’ve only been here a week let me go double check in the back”...She’s worked a week and nobody told her (or she forgot) about one of their main deals....I should’ve known it wasn’t going to get any better...and it didn’t.

45 minutes go by and WE STILL DON’T HAVE OUR MEALS....I ordered 12 Boneless Wings and my girlfriend only ordered the Happy Hour Street Tacos, and there were only THREE OF THEM! We both decide to say “F**k it” and we ask some dude who isn’t our server to let our server know. She apologized many times and I understand it’s not her fault but patience runs thin eventually. And what’s so pathetic, is it wasn’t even busy for a Boneless Thursday on Game 6 of The Finals.

BUT IT GETS BETTER She cashes us out, and she bills us a bill $8 more than what we ordered....not kidding🤣 We speak to a Manager who ran around like a chicken with its head cut off and says the other manager is on it. She returns and says she cancelled the transaction before she closed it...but our card was still charged (although pending, so we’ll see if it comes back to our card in the next day or so).

Bottom line: Pathetic excuse for a BWW...I’m honestly not shocked why it wasn’t busy, the other reviews are saying the same thing as me. We will not be returning to this BWW ever again, nor should whoever is reading this review. 1...

I haven't been here in a few months this place has really really gone downhill over $30 for a 20 piece traditional Wing when it used to be like $19 at the most as well as you don't get the carrots and celery unless you ask upon request which I was not told by my server was only told at check out and it's on a little tiny spot in the corner on the bottom of the menu also was served a lemonade that was so watery it was practically just water with a hint of lemon in it. I told the server Fernisha about it she didn't even offer to replace it or take it take it off the my bill until I insisted that it was taken off then I tried to walk up to the front and pay was told I had to scan a QR code to be able to pay from the table. They said it's in order to help speed up the process there was like nine people in the whole restaurant while I was there as a member of a local football group that used come here every weekend to watch football I am really disappointed in the service I've received as well as the quality of food like this place can't afford to give you the carrots and celery that used to be included with the wings without having to ask I just think that's absolutely silly that you have to ask for something that used to be included in the meal and they try to hide the fact that it's even available by placing a little tiny disclaimer in the bottom corner of the menu. I was also part of a glass company that helped replace all five of the front windows when they were smashed out about a year ago and have always had good loyal to you to this place since the manager at the time was so awesome and gave us free wings and drinks while doing the work. I will not be returning to this place again and I hope that other people won't either. Time to find a new place for wings and football... shame on you BWW. $42 dollars for 20 subpar wings and a kids meal and a watery lemonade what an...
