The most horrible customer experience overall I have ever experienced in a very long time, in any establishment. Just this past weekened, me and my 5 year old was looking around and I simply asked a few questions to the lady over the counter. What started as a simple question, was followed by an onslaught of aggressive and offensive condescending answers. All i asked is what can I find here that I cant find anywhere else at the mainstream stores, like on sale, sort of rare or discontinued that the others dont carry etc. She hollered back asking what my budget was. And the lady rudely told me "you should know that, anything rare, it doesnt get cheap". Which isnt entirely true, obviously she has never heard of overstock items going on sale etc. And I pointed out what's the 20% off tags there for. She said those are BOGOs. So i was like The Fragrance Outlet's BOGOS are 30% -50% off. Then she said our store sells cheaper than the other stores. I was like what š¤¦š¾āāļø. All hell broke loose when I asked her how much do you sell your Paco Rabanne Royal for? She gave me the price, then I told her Amazon sells it cheaper, she was in disbelief, so I showed her. Then I also said Macy's has a 30% promo etc. And she answered well i dont own the store, i just work here. And gave me an attitude. I told her that I collected fragrances, and this was fhe first time stepping in the store. I also asked her if they gave a Veterans discount which in return gave me a very nasty look, and rudely said "nahhh" just like that. Well you can go and buy from Amazon and Macy's then. Wow! Way to help sell your fragrances at the store lady! š¤¦š¾āāļø Who the hell hired this person? I did not once raised my voice, yell, curse her out, or even said anything derogatory towards her. My 5 year old was just minding his own business and was the only reason I bit my tongue and held my guard. All in all, i left empty handed (which is very rare when it comes to fragrances), I would hate to see the next person waste their time and money in this store. Do yourself a favor, please go to Macy's Sephora, Ulta, or Fragrance Outlet if you decide to buy "In-Person" which I like doing... but you will find BETTER deals online at fragrancenet, Jomashop, Maxaroma, and even Amazon. The only reason I stepped foot in the store is because my son and I happened to walk pass it after getting desert. This is prolly my 1st one and only 1 star review I have written on Google. To the owner of the store, I highly recommend screening or giving a thorough interview about customer service and proper ettiquet, manners, and behavior towards the customer prior to hiring prospects or perhaps provide training of some sort. She didnt even ask me what kind of fragrances do I like lol. Like do I like spicy, fresh, oud, or green notes etc. She didnt seem to be knowledgeable about other fragrances and told me they only sold one size of Hermes Terre D' Hermes By Hermes For Men and told me it's all they ever sell and it's been like that since the beginning, Bullshit! Not only were there 2 sizes on the shelf, she didnt spot, but I bet anyone to google the different ML bottles right now you can find and buy online! That's when I knew that there was something wrong with this lady, and that she could have had a bad start of the day and decided to take it out on the innocent bystanding customer, which me and my son, were the only ones in there. Wow what rant. Time wasted in this store. Never going in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not shop here! ALL staff is extremely rude and have no idea about Customer Service. I worked Customer Service for 15 years, managing for 12 of those years. This isnāt my first absolutely horrible experience from this location, which is why I say āALLā staff are rude. Couple days ago I took my 15 year old twin daughters to go pick out their first perfume and experience what shopping for nice perfume is like. When we arrived, I explained in full detail how my girls have never been shopping for perfume and I wanted to gift them for their birthday the experience of becoming young women. The lady working, I believe to have been the manager, seemed excited to help. Suddenly my 8 year old had to use the bathroom and couldnāt wait, so I asked the employee to show the girls some perfumes she knew to be popular within their age group and to let them select a few to smell and try out, while I ran youngest to the bathroom. When I got back, my twins were in front of the store waiting on me, looking a bit distraught. I asked what had happen and they explained that the employee was extremely rude to them and told them after she shared two perfumes her daughter likes, that she didnāt have all day to let them try perfumes. So one of the two asked if she had anything with a Vanilla note, and the employee told her they had no Vanilla anything at all, when clearly she was looking at an entire shelf of Vanilla products that had the label Vanilla in front. My girls are far from ignorant, and can read just fine. The employee then told them that they could only try what they had out for testers, which Perfumeries only had maybe 3 testers out. And for those of you reading this, thinking she knew she wasnāt going to make any money to help two little girls, I told her before I left the price didnāt matter and I wanted them to have something nice. She asked above $100, and I said the price didnāt matter if they liked it. So needless to say, they sold no perfumes to us that day, and I chose to take them to Macyās instead. For the employees at Perfumerie, this was no way to make a guaranteed sale, no way to show little girls how they shop for perfume, and an extremely bad experience theyāll forever carry with them as their first experience of dealing with a perfume employee. Most get commission off the sales, so Iām a bit more in awe about all this and why? Grown adult acting this way with 15 year old girls that very much mind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spent days calling shops from Burlington to Tacoma looking for a specific cologne. I called this store and sure enough they had it. However, I communicated that I wasbalmost an hour and a half away and that would close 20 min before I got there. I offeres to pay extra for her time as I was hoping to have this cologne(sentimental to the situation I am in) for a special announcement before my man got on a plane the next morning. She agreed to wait for the additional money. I drove and arrived at the time I said I would be there. The woman said to call her when I arrived. Almost 50 miles at the tail end of rush hour traffic I drove down there South Everett to Federal Way. No answer, the store is locked and closed. Security said the shop keeper left at 7pm. So she did not wait the additional 18 minutes. 100 miles lost in a jeep that gets 14mpg, 2.5 hours driving, 2.5 hours that could have been spent with my favorite person in this world, that I don't know when I'll be able to physically see him again. Complety devistating, disrespectful, and an unnecessary waste of someone's time. I was willing to pay $100 for a cologne that is $19 on eBay, and $26 on Amazon to have it in time. I am not a in a great financial situation to be...
