Federal Way PAEC — Attraction in Federal Way

A friend of mine sings with the Federal Way Chorale, so I went to hear her concert at the FWPAEC last month. It was the first time I had been there and it was lovely! I used to live in Federal Way years ago and was surprised to see such a beautiful and large performing arts location there. In the large lobby they were hosting a silent auction, and there was plenty of room to move around easily, and the space was also perfect for connecting with the singers after the concert.

Being a singer myself, I'm conscious of sound, lighting, stage space, and audience comfort. All were excellent at the FWPAEC. It was an enjoyable experience all around, and I'm so happy I got to experience such a nice venue.

The parking lot right next to the venue is not nearly large enough for the size of the theater. However, there is a large outdoor shopping center right there with plenty of parking for the over flow. We had a good time at PAEC at the Prince Again – A Tribute to Prince. It was our first time visiting. I's a smaller, but nice and clean venue. Their great staff welcomed us. They have a cocktail area with drinks and snacks. The sound was great and the Prince Tribute did a good job! I have to say it was pretty nice not having to drive to and from Seattle. We will be checking out future shows for sure. Makes for a great, local, date night. The only things I would suggest is adding a couple more tall tables for socializing during intermission and better lighting outside as there were lights out in front. Overall a good...

We had so much fun seeing the Derina Harvey Band perform here! We sat right in the front row on the right side and had a great time, though the acoustics are probably better at least a couple rows back. We were having such a blast anyway, so we didn't mind!

The building is beautiful and spacious, and the staff were very kind. There is a dedicated parking lot, so it was nice to not worry about finding street parking or parking in a garage.
