I’m honestly surprised at all the good reviews. Came here for dinner with my family for the first time. Very first thing I noticed when we sit down is there are two table cloths on the table, The one on the under side is glued and stapled to the table, The cloth place over top of that is shredded and hanging down. There was a dirty used mask underneath my seat on the floor.
They brought bread to the table and four plates for us. All the plates were mismatched and chipped, not that it really matters but it looks tacky and unprofessional.
I ordered prawn Primavera and a Caesar salad. They brought the Caesar salad out and the lettuce was brown and wilted. The poor salad was absolutely macerated in dressing. There was no cheese whatsoever. And there were giant chunks of shaved carrots in mine. Never seen a Caesar salad with carrots.
We got potato croquettes as an appetizer which were nothing more than bland unseasoned mashed potatoes fried into sticks
I got my prawn Primavera and the shrimp were definitely frozen. The pieces of vegetable in it were cheap And tasted and looked like they were from a frozen bag. Bottom of the dish was just a bunch of liquid.
My sister got some meat stuffed ravioli thing That looked like someone boiled some noodles opened a can of sauce dumped it all together and threw it in a Microwave. It was sloppy and she said it tasted microwaved for sure.
In my opinion the food is extremely over priced and really seems to be poor quality. The food tasted frozen or microwaved and the...
Read moreLet me tell you a story about Vince’s and why I’ll always be a customer there! My first time going there ever! I feel like I left my moms house with a meal already cooked that I didn’t want to eat and went to my grandma’s house who already cooked, ate and cleaned the kitchen for the night but whipped up my favorite meal just because she knew I hadn’t eaten yet. I wanted pasta but I wanted to go to a mom and pop place. A friend recommended Vince’s and said they stayed open late. I looked at the menu a few times and didn’t see anything that I wanted. They have so much on the menu too. Just nothing I wanted to eat. The waitress was very friendly and patient with me. She came back several times to check on me and I told her I can’t find anything I want. She asked what I wanted and I described what I was looking for. She smiled and said we can do that! They whipped up something for me in the back based off of what I wanted and it was AMAZING!!!!!! It was the BEST I was completely satisfied. It was like a warm hug but in my belly. My description …. Grilled chicken with a cheesy sauce but not Alfredo but with tomato’s, onions and whatever veggies they have. It was cheesy and had veggies and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Who does that???? Spoiled me ….. YES just like grandma. I love this place! I’ve been back several times and will continue to go back always! You should definitely go if you are in the area or just want really good...
Read moreI've been attending dinner's with family, friends and just myself since I was a little girl. One half of my family is pure Italian and we absolutely adore this restaurant! Not only is the food phenomenal but you can't beat the friendly, quiet, intimate atmosphere you get every time you go. Unlike cheesy Italian style restaurants, such as the Olive Garden, this restaurant is family owned and operated and offers such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The prices are also great. You can honestly afford to take your family out for a great meal for once; if you go to Vince's.
Everyone has their own experiences with any restaurant they go to. I worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years. There are days that you might have a bad experience with a server --- perhaps they had a really bad morning or got some horrible news before their shift began --- and like any restaurant there are different cooks. So one afternoon or evening you might get one cook who makes a phenomenal mean and another time it might not be quite so great. Remember they are still just people and ALL people make mistakes from time to time.
All in all I would and always will recommend Vince's to anyone looking for a great meal and experience. BTW - if you want an amazing pasta dish you have GOT to TRY their Carbonara!!! It is to die for. As them to make the sauce a little extra thick and add crispy bacon pieces to the dish. It set's it off to...
