Sushi & K Grill — Restaurant in Fenton

My husband and I went on Friday, June 7 2024. We arrived at 6:45 pm +/-. We were seated within 5 minutes. There was one person seating guests and waiting on tables. She was incredibly nice.

It wasn't very busy, but there were a couple of large groups dining. We waited a little over an hour before our appetizer finally came out. We ordered crab tempura. It was delicious. We waited an additional 15 ish minutes and we still hadn't received the rest of our food. We asked for it to be packed to go as we had to get our kids at a certain time.

Our order was packed beautifully. The presentation of the food in the take out platter was so nice. We saw we had enough time to eat some of it before we had to leave. My word, it was phenomenal.

We had a caterpillar roll (it was plated so cute lol), a lobster roll, a California roll, some nigri, a tuna roll, and 2 or 3 other sushi rolls. Everything was incredibly good. The caterpillar roll was a very pleasant kick of freshness. That's the best way I can describe the taste of the roll because of its ingredient combination.

The food was simply delicious, the best sushi I've ever had. Everything was top tier fresh. The rolls aren't small either, they're packed full. And it's not all rice and a little of whatever else goes inside - it's a great balance of rice and decent sized chunks of crab, avocado, cream cheese, lobster, etc.

For everything we ordered it was about $106 before tip. While that sounds expensive for two people, it's well worth the money because of the freshness, size of the rolls, and how well filled the rolls were. Also keep in mind the amount of food we ordered.

Not a fan of a super long wait anywhere I go (they do have a sign on the front door saying they are short staffed at the moment and we appreciated the heads up), but the food was worth the wait. The service we received was worth the wait.

I hope this place stays in business as I will not go anywhere...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi & K Grill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I wanted to try a new sushi place and I’m glad I came here. I prefer nigiri so I ordered the yellowtail, red snapper, smoked salmon, white tuna and regular tuna sushi. I like the taste of the vinegared rice. You receive two pieces of sushi per order of nigiri. All the sushi tasted great. Tonight my taste buds enjoyed the yellowtail and white tuna the most. The smokiness of the salmon was very tasty. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I took 3 pieces home. The waitress brought my check and the pineapple dish. Even though I was stuffed I had to try it again and again and again until it was all gone. It was sweet and light and a great way to end the meal. Great job!
