First and for most 15% or not whatever you said about a gratuity is a SUGGESTION not a REQUIRMENT Anybody coming into your establishment should feel comfortable and be able to eat without it feeling awkward like they don't belong. You as the manager was rude along with your waiter. You don't slam someone's debit card down because you feel like what they gave or didn't give wasn't enough. What I paid for was to have a lunch anything else afterwards was for the experience and the quality of food, and since neither weren't up to part I decided to tip as I pleased that was not up to you or whoever else felt that I should have. As far as what contract are agreement you have with Groupon if you feel Like your loosing out on money get rid of it period! Also the comment about charity work or donations, there are also hundreds of other restaurants who give back to SCHOOLS FOR MULTIPLE CHILDREN AND THERE COMMUNITIES, some to name MCDONALDS, APPLEBEES, CHIPOTLE, WENDYS, CHILES AND MANY MORE. But that's besides the point. The point IS the person who is PAYING TO EAT at your establishment and ANY establishment HAS the option to tip or not tip what ever they want and should not be hounded like a dog that they have to. IT DIDNT SAY IT ON THE GROUPON NOR YOUR MENU. If you have a problem with that automatically charge a gratuity or have it placed where it is noticeable. Thanks for the bad experience and your right I won't EVER come back to your establishment. Maybe that's satisfying to you maybe it's not but your establishment will fail if your employees ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER OR OWNER continue to force things on people and act the way they do. Thank you for reading and you have...

I'll say this.. I have always loved the service I've recieved from 3 Margaritas.. Atleast up until yesterday. I was charged 2x for my meal which was about $40. So ended up paying $80! (Just went for drinks!) when I spoke to the owner about the issue because I noticed the double charge that following day, I was explaining the bank said this was an issue on their end. The owner swore up and down he would take care of the issue when he arrived (I asked them to call the manager since they all said they couldn't issue a refund & I guess he had to drive in) When he arrived he called someone on the phone saying he only seen the one charge & asked me to speak to them on the phone. They said that sometimes they charge 2x incase 1 doesn't go through - who does that?? Can u do that?? She said most likely it will fix itself within 7-10 business days!!!! Most likely? Even after the owner said he could tell I was honest and showed the proof on my banking app and that he would refund me, after calling his "people" he smiled in my face offering a gift certificate with a completely different attitude like he proved he didn't owe me anything. I told him I didn't want anything that wasn't owed to me and to give them to someone else. Needless to say I walked away with no resolution and they took an he hr to basically tell me it MOST LIKELY will fix itself. I will never take my service back to them. I'd rather go to mcdonalds. Bathrooms are nasty & drinks are WAY over priced. Save yourself...
Read moreIf I could give this little hole in the wall place a 0, I would! The service was aweful! I was totally ignored for the first 20 minutes i was there. And there were only about 10 other people in the restaurant that night. Besides my party of 10! The waitress finally came out and said" what you want to order?" I said, "I don't know yet. May I see a menu? And may I order a drink?" She rolled her eyes at me and brought me a menu. I asked for a vodka and diet Coke and an ice water. She asked if Diet Pepsi was okay. I said yes. So she brought me a Diet Pepsi. No ice water. I assumed she misunderstood and brought the issue to her attention. Again, she rolled his eyes at me, took my Diet Pepsi and came back. Yet nothing had changed. Same Diet Pepsi! My food was cold, my chimi was soggy. I couldn't eat it so I asked for a box. Literally for my dog. When my check came, she charged me $6.99 for a Diet Pepsi!!! Three people in my party do not drink at all. They all smelled and tasted this drink and all agreed it was a virgin Pepsi. They tried to tell me there was a shot and a half in it, but no way! Then, the agreed to take a whopping $3 bucks off my bill. Yippee! By the time I got home in St. Charles, I was puicking my guts out and doing "the poop shootin boogie" the entire next day. I had to cancel a dental appointment, which cost me $95 bucks, and I missed an entire days work! Do NOT go to this place!!! Or at least, proceed with extreme caution! That discuting $12 dinner cost me a boat load of money! Never again! Go to El Maguey....
