I have no complaints about the store in Fenton or the service I received when I purchased 4 twin mattresses, box springs and frames. Had I known what my delivery experience, called Gold Service, would be like; I would not have made the purchase. I purchased 2 regular twins and 2 twin XL. One of the delivery people was so confused by this that I can't even begin to repeat our conversation and how I tried to explain the order. I actually had to go out to the truck and look at the packaging and labels and identify twin and twin xl. The big label with a huge T and TXL meant nothing to him, not to mention the model numbers on the labels matching my paperwork. They came into the house like bulls in a China shop. This is a newly built home with almost nothing in the bedrooms. There was more than enough room to place the frames and mattresses. I am in the next room to hear a huge crashing sound. He just dropped one of the frame boxes on the floor. The other was haphazardly dumped against the wall. I walked in to watch this slide down the wall leaving damage I now need to deal with. The frames are assembled and pushed up against the wall. Another area I must deal with. The XL mattresses went to the downstairs bedroom. My husband watched as the other delivery person placed the frame box on the stairs and let it slide down until it stopped. Again, good for the wall of the finished basement. We received the same treatment of our home in this bedroom and have wall repair to take care of in this room as well. I had halloween decorations on the front porch that they apparently could not avoid. Rather than watch out for them or ask that they be moved, they just plowed through it. There was a small table in the front hallway. This easily could have been avoided by watching where they were going or asking for it to be moved just to be sure nothing was broken. Totally clueless and had zero respect for my home and belongings. I would suggest avoiding delivery by Mattess Firm. Friends and family at least care about your home. We purchased our new bed from here and had to drive to Earth City to pick it up, no biggie, we needed a new mattress, box spring and frame all which was told to her multiple times. She didn’t add the frame, had us down for delivery and when called and confronted about it she put all of the blame on us, and the Earth City location. We were supposed to pick it up here (Fenton) not Earth City, even though she specifically said to pick it up from Earth City, gave us the address and told us not not bother calling because they never answer the phone there. When questioned why she gave us the address and to not call she switched up saying oh no it was them who messed up. It clearly said pick up at Earth City on the order, when it in-fact did not. The employees at the Earth City location were absolutely wonderful they stopped the truck which was leaving to go start deliveries, unloaded the mattress and box spring for us and we’re all around amazing. When I called to inquire about Diane she of course answered the phone proceeded to lie and say that it wasn’t her fault, and they had already had everything loaded up and taken care of for my significant other when in fact they did not, since I was just in the phone with him not even 30 seconds prior. She doesn’t know how to do her job and talks badly about prior customers to her new ones, obviously doesn’t listen to what the customer actually needs, she’s all around unprofessional. Read moreI had a great experience at the Mattress Firm in Fenton. Jacob Underwood approached me with a smile and offered to show me everything they had. I explained to him my needs of comfort, bedroom set size and low budget. He did not chase me around the store like most sales associates but allowed me time to try out beds and make phone calls inbetween. Even though I was looking for a bed on a low budget, he did not change the way he gave me service. He was very personable and started and stoped with the same amount of enthusiasm to help me find what would best work for me.
Steven Luckett joined in to help us find my previous mattress purchase history . The computers were having issues but he was personable and relatable. it was the end of the day but they did not mind the trouble of fighting the new computer system glitches to get me the information I needed. It took some time but both sales men were there for me and did everything they could to make sure I got the best deal on the bed I wanted Still very happy with the service here! I would definitely recommend talking to these men at this store if you want someone who understands price, comfort and the reality.
Honestly I drove home with a smile and can not wait for my bed...
