At Home is an interesting place. I've been several times and my experiences have been mixed. The staff has been mediocre each time I've been there. I don't recall any occasion where I've been greeted or asked if I need help with something. This may be because I haven't seen hardly any staff aside from the checkout line. The selection of items is vast and pretty decent. There's a little bit of something for everyone and prices aren't unreasonable for the product quality. They have done a great job cleaning up their rug section. It used to just be piles of rugs on the floor. But, there is ALOT to be desired for their shelves in general. Items in the aisles, messy clusters of items that have no organization, and broken items that needed to be removed were just a few observations. The bathrooms were clean!!! Very happy with that. One big issue this last visit really has me concerned with the store's integrity. My wife picked out a couple of items in the clearance section that had a red line through the barcode, indicating it was 50% off. At checkout, they rang up full price. When we asked the cashier to fix it, we we're told that there were some items that were incorrectly marked and the most she could offer was 25% off. We refused and left the items. It was very disturbing that they refused to honor the discount. I understand mistakes happen, but the items needed to be pulled from the shelves or a note posted about the issue. Overall, I enjoy At Home. I can look past the messiness of the store for the deals and selection, but this discount issue may have me...
Read moreOrdered online for store pickup. Received an email stating my order was ready for pickup and I could either go in store or utilize the curbside pickup option. I chose to use the curbside pickup. I followed the instructions in the email and sent my text at 12:12 p.m. with my last name, order number and color and make of my vehicle. I waited 23 minutes in my car with no one bringing my order out. At that point I called the store and chose option 5 to speak with a store associate. I got sent to voicemail. Beyond livid, I went into the store to the in store pickup desk and the associate working tried to not acknowledge me. I interrupted her when she tried to help a customer waiting in line and told her I had been waiting in my car for over 20 minutes and still haven’t received my order. She asked for my order number and said someone will have my order out. No apology for my extremely long wait. I then waited a little over 10 more minutes in the store to have two small patio seat cushions brought to me, and they weren’t even in a bag. I walked out at 12:42 p.m. Neither store associate apologized my slightly over 30 minute wait to pick up an online order. I will not be purchasing from this location again. A simple apology would have been wonderful and this review wouldn’t be here. It’s basic customer...
Read moreI'm only providing 2 stars because this is the only store, I've observed, to still have a decent variety of Christmas decorations, this far into December, and good quality ornaments, at that. It's hard to find decent glass ornaments, anymore, and Garden Ridge's were impressive. Now for the negative. They have this humongous pillow/cushion section, which recently included a full aisle of dog/pet pillows. On my most recent visit, they had moved that entire section of dog/pet pillows to another part of the store, which I had to find on my own, because there was no one on the floor to ask for guidance. It was very frustrating, because where they moved it to was illogical, and only after exhausting my patience, searching in all the logical places, did I forego logic, and find it over in back, South wall, with the...
