Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Ferry Pass

Edit to follow up: management company responded to review asking for more details via email. I followed up via email as requested and was never contacted back. Typical for negative reviews is to respond to post to appear to want to resolve an issue and better the customer experience, only to never follow up… Second visit in last two weeks with same experience, same staff working, figured I’d share. 07 MARCH staff are terrible, store has food scraps on every table. Staff actively working on school or other tasks instead of greeting customers. Issues today were the staff wore the same gloves to clean the counters and utensils as they did to make the sandwiches. My wife ordered first and then the worker turned their back to me and started cleaning again rather than taking my order. When I stated I would like to place an order it seemed rather bothersome to the worker. The other staff member then took over to do the check out. We were asked “what is this” as she pointed to our subs rather rudely. Rang the subs and failed to ask if we would like drinks or chips etc and I had to prompt that question myself. The guest behind us in line was greeted with “what do you want” also rather rudely. Neither of these employees should be working in a customer service environment let alone food...

I had an incredible experience at the Jersey Mike’s on 9 Mile Road, thanks to Joshua and the entire crew. From the moment I walked in, the place was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the team worked like a well oiled machine. The ingredients were fresh, the sandwiches were made with care, and the service was fast without ever feeling rushed.

I want to especially recognize Joshua, who stood out for his professionalism and passion. Watching him balance taking orders, running the kitchen, and keeping everything clean showed a level of focus and pride you don’t see every day. He moved with purpose, cleaned as he worked, and treated every detail as if it mattered, because to him, it clearly does. You can tell this is someone who genuinely loves what he does and could excel in any kitchen, from casual to fine dining.

If every location had a Joshua leading by example, Jersey Mike’s would be the gold standard of fast casual...

I had never eaten in a Jersey Mike's before they opened their new location on E. Nine Mile Rd. I was telling my son that a new Sub Shop would be opening by us and when he asked what the name was, I replied, "I don't know; some guy's name." To which he replied, "Jersey Mike's?!!" And I said "yeah that's the guy"! He went crazy and raved about your subs so naturally, we had to try it asap!! My husband and I have been eating there since they first opened and never went back to Subways again! We love it! Fresher bread, freshly sliced quality meats, love all the fresh veggies too! Mike's Way is the best! Everyone there is so nice, make great sandwiches with care, and professional. Taylor is doing a good job of managing too. We eat there twice a week on average. Thanks for coming to Pensacola! Except you ruined us for any other sub shop now! ...
