Wah Wok Chinese Food — Restaurant in Firestone

I ordered thru DD so I didn't get a feel for the store. But it took them very long to prepare compared to most that I've ordered from. The delivery time kept getting pushed back further and further. Not a huge problem. My main issue is the flavor of the food. The chicken wings have absolutely no flavor, as well as the egg rolls, which are actually spring rolls that have little to no meat. The Shrimp Lo Mein is so bland. The noodles have no flavoring or natural sauce from the pork on them like they were all made separately. I got 3 sauce packets, 2 soy and 1 mustard. The only bright spot of what I ordered were the lettuce rolls and the fried dumplings. They were basically just pieces of lettuce in one box and the meat in another. The meat tasted incredible. But, theyre not pre rolled like it shows on the site. The dumplings were really good and still a little crispy. For $60, not including the DD fees, which all came to $78, it's...

This is by far the worst Chinese food in Carbon Valley. My family has tried it a couple of times, stopped trying it 1-2 years ago and just tried it again this weekend. It's just terrible, I've not had anything I like from this restaurant.

The food taste, texture, and look is as if it's been cooked at least hours in advance, if not a day prior, and it has been sitting in a vat waiting to be heated up and sent to customers.

I tried the sesame chicken this time, gross! Absolutely no crunch or crispy texture, the batter is mush, texture like baby food. I can't even get myself to want to heat it up and eat leftovers even if crisped in the oven. The fried rice is yellow, it looks like mexican rice and tastes just like salted rice, very bland.

I write with a heavy heart. My family and I have been dining here for years. I have always enjoyed the food. My past two visits (1 take out, 1 delivery) have been absolutely terrible. For the sake of brevity, I will focus on my last order. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and the wife had s&s pork. Egg drop soup and egg rolls. Soup was bland and tasted like hot water. Egg rolls were flavorless and took an hour to chew each bite. My shrimp was way over cooked and the coating was like steel. No flavor! The fried rice, normally my favorite part of the meal,was the worst. No seasoning. Tasted burnt and the color was orange. I will not be ordering for a while. I truly hope that things can go back to the way they were, but we will have to...
