Tacos El Abuelo — Restaurant in Firestone

I was craving a street taco. I’ve seen this place before. It’s in the Ace Hardware parking lot. I gave it a pass based on their prices. A food truck shouldn’t cost this much. But, I had a craving and got a single carne asada taco for $3.99 including tax.

It was good, really good. Especially with their spicy sauce. It definitely hit the spot. I would love to try their breakfast burritos, but at $8.95…. Yikes! You can go down the road a little ways and get a Santiago’s breakfast burrito for much less.

These are some of the most chill people. I usually come here for their tacos and horchata. The fact that they don't use salt or pepper makes it better since the flavor is on their salsa. Always get their most spicy salsa. You get free salt and pepper packets if you want the spices, which honestly it isn't necessary. You have to get here early if you want their horchata.
