THE DRINKS I ordered the iced caramel latte. Immediately after ordering, I was because I wouldn't like it because I normally tell the barista to make it less sweet but I was happy to find it was perfectly balanced! Not too sweet and just strong enough, just how I like it!
THE FOOD
I ordered a pecan pastry but they accidentally gave me a chocolate croissant. When I let them know, the manager was nice enough to let me keep the croissant and said he'd bring me the pastry. Both were served warm and the pecan pastry was delicious. But let me tell you about this chocolate croissant. I think they knew what they were doing when they "accidentally" gave us the wrong item... because we immediately went back for another LOL! The chocolate was so warm and gooey- definitely a happy accident!
My friends also ordered a strawberry cheesecake, triple chocolate, tomato and olive pastry, and hazelnut crunch. The "crunch" in the hazelnut crunch could have been crunchier but it still added good texture. Overall, the pecan pastry and chocolate croissant were the overall favorites!
THE VIBES The restaurant was clean and well managed. The staff was nice and despite a few order errors (wrong pastry and cinnamon in a drink) they were kind enough to immediately fix it!
So excited for this new addition to the Indy food scene!...
Read moreIâm rating all the coffee shops in the area. The coffee here is 3.5/5. They donât know how to make a cappuccino. I came at 7:30am with a friend and the place was filthy. Still unclean from the previous day. Chairs are cheap and legs uneven. Not very comfortable but not terrible. Not a relaxing coffee shop. One lady started cleaning the floor, it honestly looked like she didnât know how to use a broom. It was so filthy she needed to move the tables; sweep and mop. But instead she swept around all the legs of the chairs it was quite comical. It was good entertainment because she accomplished nothing. I didnât try the desserts but they all looked fancy and delicious. High prices for hit or miss coffee. There is no service here, you stand in line, order, they shove a tip screen in front of you, pay, no tip because youâre doing your own service. Pickup your order. Go get your sugar and napkins across the room. People need to stop tipping in America for...
