Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Fishers

My Husband ordered 4 meals in the drive-thru on Saturday 1/30/16.  When he got home he realized we were missing a meal.  I called and spoke with the manager on duty and he said our next order will be free.  He was very courteous and apologetic.

Now it's Wednesday 2/3/16.  We went to this location to receive our meals and not one manager wanted to honor this promise.  I heard one of them say he didn't want his name on this transaction.  Come to find out, the manager who said our next order would be free, no longer worked there as of Sunday (after he made said our whole ticket would be free).  HA!  Sounds to me that's 1 last FU to this place.

They reluctantly gave us our meals but not one person was nice or smiled while we were waiting for our order.  Once we got our order, I checked to make sure we had 4 meals...and once again, it was wrong.  We were missing 1 item.  Luckily we hadn't left yet.  I spoke with one of the managers telling him how frustrating it is that bothof these orders were not right.  He apologized and was nice about the whole thing.  However, he is the one that stated he didn't want to be the one with his name on this transaction.

We get home and started to eat and realized 1 of the burgers was wrong.  Fortunately, this burger tasted much better.

I like their food.  So far not 1 issue with how things taste.  However, this location needs more training on how to get orders right and teach them better customer service.  If you don't want to be pleasant, then don't work in a place where you deal...

Awful location! Giving one star is way too much. Just recently moved here and at first super excited to be so close to a 24 hour place (household full of second and third shifts). The first night here we stopped by around 3:30AM, and there was a written sign at the drive thru saying it was closed. The next day we decided to eat here and made sure to ask if this spot was 24 hours so we could he better prepared. The waitress told us it was, like it was silly to ask if a Steak 'n Shake was open for 24 hours. We just tried to go there again (around 3:30AM) and sat at the drive thru menu for a few min. No answer. Drove around to the front, doors were locked, and saw an employee standing there looking at us. Since we saw him, we decided to drive around again hoping to get an answer at the drive. Again, nothing. Drove to the window, saw the employee standing there and he made it clear he didn't want to help us. Worst service/experience i have ever had. When entering with my family, the first thing i saw was half of the tables were dirty. We were waiting to be sat and it took longer than expected....then we were sat at a dirty table. Waitress Olivia S, was nice but she brought me the wrong food, never checked on us, no refills, no nothing. I was already aggravated that i didnt get to eat with my family until they were almost finished. We waited 15 minutes for to-go boxes that i ended up getting myself. The restrooms were absolutely FILTHY. The last straw was when i was looking for olivia she was texting on her phone. I then spoke to a manager named charles foster and told him about our experience. I also pointed out that we had been there for 50 minutes and the SAME tables were STILL dirty. His response to this was "well, i dont know whos section that is but im sorry." How is he managing this store and not know whats going on, whos section is whos ect? Needless to say i wont be...
