I am finished with Wendy's in Madison. I was just in there and waited around 20 minutes for my food. When I got up to ask, everyone was just standing around. It was like my order never happen. After asking, it took another 15 minutes to get it. They clearly didn't expedite my order because just kept serving people out the drive-thru. The fries were soggy and undercooked, and tasted like they'd be under a heat lamp for hours. Not to mention the soda machine was out of everything (this happens almost every time I go into a local Wendy's) and the store was absolutely filthy (they all are in this area, no matter what time of say). Half the time staff is rude and they almost always mess up your order. I have never once been offered a refund or something to compensate for the horrible service I've received on multiple occasions. And I'm sure writing this review isn't going to get me any compensation either but at least I'll have piece of mind knowing I might have saved some poor from the terrible experience of entering one of these establishments. The people who keep these stores in operation should be embarrassed. Corporate needs to come fix these dumpster fire restaurants or shut them...
Read moreSo many times, I have gone to this Wendy's to take advantage of the free Frosty keytag that I have, as it's the closest to my work and Frosties are good.
With that said, they are pitifully slow during/after the lunch rush, and it seems to get worse every time I go back. Today, I got to the drive-thru around 1:00 PM, so well after the lunch rush. Despite that, I waited ten minutes to get to the order speaker, five minutes at the speaker to order, then another five to ten minutes to pay and get my food. And they got my Frosty flavor wrong, despite me seeing it on the screen and calling them out on it, to which the guy taking my order said "got it". And that's not the first time they've done that.
They also neglected to give me a straw for my water (which I asked for no ice and they initially gave me ice; again, not the first time this has happened). Luckily, I had extra straws, but it shouldn't have to be said that if you give someone a drink in the drive-thru, you should probably include a straw.

Read moreFood Delivery Partners would be wise to reject orders for this Wendy's location. I waited 15-20 minutes in the restaurant until the employees began putting the order together and that was after I showed the order to the employee at the counter. There was one other customer in the lobby and I would estimate 5 cars in the drive through line. All of the cars in the drive through were taken care of before they began putting my order together. Fast food just isn't fast anymore... something that is especially true at this location.
I won't be back here and I sincerely hope the franchise owner sees this review and considers what, if anything, can be done to improve in the future. You owe it to...
