This was our second time at Salty Rim. Our first visit was not long after it opened and we sat upstairs. It was not a great experience but we decided to give it another try. This time, we decided to sit downstairs. The chairs were very comfortable and the atmosphere was nice but that's where it ended. We ordered drinks and the server immediately said that the bar was backed up and the bartender was slow so the drinks might take a while. She never offered water to us. The appetizer came out and we still had nothing to drink. We asked the food runner for water which she brought over and was extremely nice. We finally got our drinks and, my husband and I split a cheeseburger with bacon. The patty was obviously premade and frozen. The nachos were stale but guacamole was excellent. We decided on our way to Uncorked, next door that the food was just ok. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby with amazing food at less or same price that we won't be back. I would think this restaurant would be stepping up it's game due to the area's amazing restaurants. Has management not tried the surrounding restaurants and saw where their restaurant could be lacking? We have a group of friends coming soon that may be staying there and we do not know anything about the rooms but we have told them that we will supply them with a list of restaurants in the area but not to eat...
Read moreHorrible! My husband and I just got to the hotel and realized that they don't have room service so we called down to the restaurant to put in an order so that we could pick it up. The girl that answered informed me that they have no way to take any orders on the phone. What? Okay... So then my husband goes down stairs and puts in an order. The order was $60 and it was definitely not what was posted in their menu. I ordered the Huli Huli Chicken which is supposed to be a half chicken on pineapple rice and instead we got white rice with half of a grilled chicken breast with teriyaki sauce on it and sesame seeds. The burger was absolutely horrible. Dry and tasteless topped with hot wilted lettuce. That certainly was not $60 worth of food for two people. I've been trying to call them to ask what happened to the food that was actually advertised on there menu but nobody answers the phones now. Don't waste your time or your money going to this place. Very low quality food and terrible service. If I could give it a -10...

On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Megan, and she made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and such a genuinely positive attitude — you could tell she really enjoys what she does. She offered helpful, honest suggestions from the menu and nailed every recommendation. It’s rare to find someone so upbeat and attentive without being overbearing. Megan is a true asset to the Salty Rim team! The midnight blaze is my favorite.
The atmosphere at Salty Rim is relaxed and inviting — the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy the ocean breeze, and sip on a cold drink while watching the waves roll in.
If you’re in the area, stop by. And if you’re lucky enough to have Megan as your server, you’re in for a...
