Unfortunately I have to put this in the overrated category . We came here for a quick stop headed out of town because of the rave reviews. To start, the service was Cold, Unwelcoming and Unfriendly. We were hungry and wanted to get to the canyon coaster before it closed so we just shrugged It off initially.
We proceeded to order the Brisket Torta the Loaded Breakfast Burrito, a limeade and a Herb and fruit limeade (raspberry)... 41 bucks. Was a bit pricey but we don't have huge appetites and because of the reviews we figured it should be worth it. Unfortunately we were wrong.
The torta had a miniscule amount of meat on it in comparison to the size roll which also wasn't a very large roll, so a bit puzzled there 🤷♀️. Along with a small amount of meat was a large glob of fat. Me and my significant other split the torta, and if I didn't open the sandwich and look at the meat the glob of fat would have literally been on one half of the sandwich. Given the tiny amount of meat this almost felt deliberate, like why would you put that on there? 🤔 The "Loaded" Breakfast Burrito was basically "Loaded" with unseasoned potatoes and possibly two eggs, the meat could have passed off for pepper, seriously. I would have taken photos but we were essentially done at this point and we just wanted to eat and leave. Fortunately, my you girls were ok with it, however if it were for me and my significant other we would have sent everything back if we had the time.
The limeade at about $4 per 12 oz or so, was overpriced and underwhelming. Slightly tart, not very sweet and very few raspberries in the special one, no herbs.
Overall this mission was a complete fail, and we would not return, even with planning to move to Flagstaff.
I'm literally only writing this review to inform others that may be misled by some of the other reviews. I honestly wish I would have checked the negative reviews first as they are definitely tell tale to the food...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited this breakfast restaurant for the first time and were blown away by the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
We started our meal with an iced mocha and a caramel latte, both of which were perfectly made. The coffee was rich and flavorful. For our entrees, we ordered the breakfast sandwich and the homemade waffle. The breakfast sandwich was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Here are some specific details about our experience that we loved:
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We felt like we were at home with friends.
We would highly recommend this breakfast restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with...
Read moreI appreciate the immediate greeting as anyone walks in. If you come in lost, they will direct you to the ordering station. After you order, you sit where you like and they will call your food when ready. The area your food will be has everything you need: straws, silverware, sugar and napkins. I ordered the tangy waffle and ordered a side of sausage to go with it. The waffle was extremely fluffy. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I also ordered the limeade and it was a little too tart for me. I did completely finish it though so maybe it was perfect after all!
I do have some complaints. When you are ready to leave, you are left wondering what to do with your dishes. The trashcan being in the dining room may confuse customers that they should bring their dishes. I've seen two tables leave and it was awkward watching them contemplate whether to leave the plates at the table or bring it to the counter. After they left, no one came out to wipe the tables. At this point, I'm nit-picking but I do value a clean environment when I'm eating out. Overall, a very...
