We were passing through and saw the stand, we decided to try the red chili beef and a bannana nut loaf. The masa was dry. The meat had good flavor. But it's not throughout the tamale. I feel like it's a ball of masa topped with meat. The size of the tamale was perfect. I think for the price we paid that they would put more effort in to the preparation. They had a lot of chili seeds and chili skin in the meat. I wish they would have strained the chili to remove the seeds and skin prior to adding to the meat. My bread was also dry. So far I've tried the red pork, green pork, green chicken, and pineapple ginger, all were amazing the masa was moist and a good size, I've never had pineapple ginger omg that is an amazing combo I still have cheese and veggies the chicken mole to try I'm sure they will be great.
