Had supper there on a Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. They appear to be open 7 days/week from 6am for breakfast and they close at 10pm daily. There were approximately 15 other people dining there. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. They have a main dining area with tables and booths and a bar dining area. Staff were all very pleasant, helpful and overall the service was really good.

For drinks they have water, coffee and tea plus the usual selection of fountain drinks. They also have a full bar including wine, beer (bottle and 15 taps), and liquor.

Their food menu has both breakfast and main meal items. They have multiple styles of burgers, multiple sandwiches, and good list of sides including fries, veggies, soup, salads, etc. They also have large dinner salads, grilled or fried chicken dishes, grilled or fried fish/shrimp dishes, grilled pork chops, and steaks.

I had the grilled center cut pork chops with a side of green chili mashed potatoes. The potatoes were tasty overall with a nice spice to them. I liked that they leave the potato peels on and I could also see the green chilis incorporated in. There were two center cut chops approximately 1/2" thick at one end but sliced uneven tapering down to a 1/4" thick. They had been grilled at some point and were then heated up in a pan. And there was NO chance anyone would find these underdone. They were way over cooked and very dry and chewy. I had to use steak sauce to get some moisture on them. This may have not been the best thing to pick on the menu and if I ate there again I would go for a chicken dish or fried fish.

The restaurant is attached to/part of the Days Hotel by Wyndham. The hotel is being remodeled so at some times there may be some construction noise in the background. Also, it seems that Flagstaff passed a new, higher minimum wage for servers. The restaurant added 13% to the total bill to cover the increase vs. increasing menu prices. There were multiple fliers posted on the doors and within the restaurant notifying customers of the increase.

My rating of 3 stars overall is based on the meal I had. Otherwise the service was very good and the restaurant was neat and clean with a quiet atmosphere. I would eat here again to give it...

Tried this place based on reviews. We arrived today April 4th around 1:45pm, with 15 minutes left to order off of their breakfast menu, as it ends at 2pm. Staff was friendly and courteous and said we had plenty of time to order breakfast, but we ended up ordering off of the lunch menu instead.

Of the many reviews I read, many raved about their Reuban sandwich and their Chipotle Chicken sandwich, so I was really torn about which to order. I asked our server's opinion. She said both were really good, but she would probably recommend the Chipotle Chicken since it has a lot more going on, so that's what I went with.

As I was eating my open faced Chicken sandwich, I'm thinking that I didnt understand why so many people raved about the Chipotle, as it tasted like ordinary bbq sauce to me, so I was not too impressed. I later asked our server if that was Chipotle sauce, because it doesn't taste like it. Get this...she nonchalantly apologized and said she ordered me the wrong meal, like it was no big deal. I was rather dissapointed by her reaction, and that we drove all this way and didnt get to try either of the two sandwiches I wanted to try. As nice as she was, I was underwhelmed by her insincere half of an effort apology. As she was about to walk away, I had to ask her what I actually got. She ordered me their Western chicken sandwich instead, which I never even asked about, and would never order off of any menu. We were only one of two or three tables total in the place, so not even busy in there, so not sure what went wrong. I did not hate my meal, but I did not really enjoy it. It must have just been an off day for our server. She should work on being better at making things better when she does screw orders up.

I also orderd the cesar salad as my side, which was a very simple & basic chopped salad, no tomatos but their cesar dressing was pretty tasty, which is the most imporant part.

I also ordered the French onion soup, and it was as delicious as the reviews said. Loved it!

My husband ordered the french dip, and it was delicious with tender meat and tasty aus jus.

They are a little on the pricy side for what you get. Not sure that we would go out of our way to try this place again, but at least we...

After a long day at the Grand Canyon and driving back to Flagstaff we were hungry. We called a few restaurants we were interested in but they all had long waits. Then I came across Northern Pines and they had a patio table opening up so I put my name down and drove over. It doesn't look like much and we had our reservations, but they proved us wrong. We all started with a round of waters. I ordered a glass of red wine (nice size pour), one ordered a peach bellini, and the other ordered a melon mule. They ordered Vegas style wings and I ordered a garden salad with ranch to start. Vegas style meant they fried and oven baked the wings and my friends were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed them. My garden salad was a garden salad, nothing to write about lol. For our meals I ordered the cajun pasta without chicken and extra cajun seasoning. One friend ordered the fried fish and shrimp with French fries and subbed broccoli for coleslaw. And the other friend ordered the 6 oz steak with a baked potato. It took a while for the food to come out but when it did we were ready to eat. I'm not sure what type of pasta they used but I expected penne pasta and they could've given me more broccoli, which needed some seasoning. Other than that I enjoyed my pasta and surprised myself by finishing all of it. Note from friends: Other than the steak being small there were no other complaints. The shrimp was flavored well but the actual fish lacked seasoning. Fries were good. Broccoli needed seasoning. Because it was my friend's birthday she got a couple scoops of vanilla icecream with a candle. Service was a tad slow but we were all surprised at how well our food tasted. Definitely give them a try if you're in the...

This is actually a 3 1/2 star review. Right off the highway so easy to get to (we were traveling from Phoenix towards New Mexico) and plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door and our server came to get our drink order right away. She gave us just enough time to look over the extensive breakfast menu! I appreciated her attentiveness on that point, however the rest of the meal she wasn't attentive and our coffee went empty for awhile before she came by. Plus she never brought our juice that came with our meal. They have funny little books at the table in case you need a boost to your conversation. I ordered the regular French toast with a side of sausage links and hubby ordered the Northern Pines omelette. Hubby said the omelette was very good and full of toppings. My French toast was another story. It was made out of French bread so thicker than normal bread. In my humble opinion it should have been soaked in the egg mixture much longer. The outside barely had the egg on it and the inside was simply bread, and that seemed chewy and possibly stale. Definitely not the best French toast I've had (and I love French toast!). The sausage links were good though with a mild taste, not spicy. Prices are comparable to other restaurants but when the meal isn't that great then it's over priced! Since we are traveling it's quite possible we won't ever stop here again but they do have a very large menu for all meals so you might find something you'd enjoy. Hopefully the service will be a bit more attentive for you and your meal goes smoothly and is delicious.
