I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Silver Pine Restaurant and Bar, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Nestled in the beautiful Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, the ambiance of the restaurant is both cozy and elegant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a special occasion.
I decided to try their Eggs Benedict, and it exceeded all my expectations. The eggs were poached to perfection, with the yolks just the right amount of runny, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy without being overwhelming. The English muffin was toasted to a delightful crisp, providing a perfect base for the layers of flavor. The Canadian bacon was thick and flavorful, adding a wonderful savory note to the dish. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it one of the best Eggs Benedicts I've ever had.
What truly set the experience apart, however, was the impeccable service. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. The staff's attention to detail and genuine friendliness made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of.
In addition to the Eggs Benedict, the menu offers a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a gourmet dinner, Silver Pine has something to offer. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation of the dishes are evident in every bite.
Overall, my visit to Silver Pine Restaurant and Bar was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this gem to anyone in Flagstaff looking for a top-notch dining experience. Five stars...
Read moreMy husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here and both us and our guests had a wonderful experience.
In the months leading up to our rehearsal dinner, I worked with the food and beverage manager Sally to get our reservation and dining experience planned. Sally outlined all of the options they had in terms of menu and dining location and was extremely commutative and easy to work with. While we chose to eat in the main dining room and order off the normal menu, they have an option to rent out parts of the restaurant and have a set menu for those interested in a more curated experience.
The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious and fresh tasting. Our guests ordered a range of items from salads to steak and seafood and everyone enjoyed their meals. The bar has a wide variety of beer, wine, and specialty crafted cocktails; their old fashioned was quite popular with our guests.
Our waiter John (I think, I apologize if I am getting his name wrong as I am writing this review a week after.) was quick and attentive but he seemed to struggle with the number of guests that were at our table. I would recommend that in the future for tables of our size (19 guests), the restaurant should allocate at least 2 waitstaff to make taking orders and delivering food easier. I do not fault our waiter at all as this seems to be a staffing/management issue.
Overall, I highly recommend the Silver Pine Restaurant and Bar for anyone looking for a delicious meal with a lovely atmosphere...
Read moreWe have been going to Little America occasionally for breakfast, lunch or dinner and have always found the food to be delicious. We hadn't yet tried it since the big remodel, so decided to have dinner there for Easter. The new remodeled lobby is gorgeous, including beautiful geode displays and tables in the lobby. We were very excited to see the updated decor. Although the service was good, the menu changes are not! Gone were all of our favorites and the remaining limited items are so over priced it's ridiculous! My husband order a $30 prime rib dinner, which was not at all tender, in fact quite the opposite. I was undecided about the Easter Lamb special or a pasta dish, but after the waitress told me the lamb was exceptional, I ordered that high priced meal. Big mistake! The majority of the dish was bone, the little meat that was on the bone, was tough, full of gristle and inedible. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming, but never asked how are meals were, and believe me, I was very prepared to tell her. The only thing we enjoyed was the french onion soup, everything else was overpriced and not palatable enough to be worth even 1/2 the price. To add insult to injury our check arrived and for two soups, two dinners and two cocktails our total was $89 (and I couldn't even eat mine!) Very disappointing to say the least. We will...
