I was born and raised in SoCal so I know a great burrito when I eat one and this Mayor burrito was not just great, but fantastic. It was in fact one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. The barbacoa nachos were fantastic too. Hot sauces were incredibly fresh and I could taste the roasted chilis they used. Hot, but not crazy hot. I’d say white people fire, but taco shop medium.

Read moreI, for the life of me, do not understand how this place has 4.9 stars. Maybe I caught them on a (really) bad day, but these were some of the the worst tacos I've ever had. We went around 4, so maybe the pre-cooked meat had been sitting for hours before making it to our tacos, but they were burnt to a crisp and lacked all flavor with the exception of char. They were very nice when ordering, which is why they get two stars instead of one. Too bad it's only drive through. The freshness of the ingredients, the generous portion of meat and shrimp, and all the spices that add such a complex flavor-all wrapped in a warm tortilla… You can tell it’s made with love. Eating it feels like a mother’s hug. This is the epitome of a flipping good meal; one that could turn a man poetic. I’m not from the U.S., but this will be the meal I’ll always refer to as that one great meal I had on a random night in Arizona.
