My wife and I ordered food there on the 23rd of December. We ordered a cheeseburger for my bday as well as a burger for my wife with a GF bun. She has a Gluten Allergy, and we paid extra for the bun. The burgers were supposed to be med and well done on hers. When we arrived home after the restaurant had closed we realized they did not give us a GF bun and the burger was medium at best. I called and spoke to a manager who apologized and asked if we would like a refund or come back for another burger after the holidays. I selected a refund as I didn't know when we would come back.
No refund came and I called back on the 6th of January and spoke to the General Manager who found the order and said it was the first she had heard of it at all. She promised a refund and called back to ask for the last 4 of my card to process the refund. I gave her the requested information and now where we are on the 17th of January and I have yet to receive a refund. I called back and was told to call back again and speak to the GM who I have yet to get a hold of. I am very unhappy and disappointed with this entire scenario, and frankly have no faith in this establishment. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but if I can't get accountability from the management team, how am I supposed to expect accountability from the restaurant in general.
I filed a complaint about all of this with the corporate office, and nothing has come of it. No phone call, email, or anything at all. I understand that things can be busy and hectic and I also understand that everyone is struggling Post-Covid to keep staff etc, and provide the same expected service. That being said, it is not an excuse to completely ignore your customers either. I would love to hear back from someone who can actually resolve this issue instead of apparently just ignoring it and hoping I go away. Unfortunately, I do not anticipate ever frequenting this establishment again. There is definitely some trust building to be done if you do indeed want...
Read moreMy family went with some out-of-town family for dinner at Ruby Tuesday and I was impressed enough to leave a review. We needed to find a place that would accomodate onmivores, a vegetarian, and a 10-year-old, and decided to go here! It's a very pleasant atmosphere, particularly well-suited for conversation thanks to the lack of loud, obnoxious background music. The seating was also super-comfortable. It has padded booths and chairs as well as tables big enough to accommodate larger parties so you don't feel squished or like there's not enough room for everyone's food. The service was amazing, Grayson was awesome! Polite, personable and efficient, he was totally on top of drink refills (major kudos for that one!) and was quick to bring us anything we asked for during a busy Friday night. The food was equally impressive. The appetizer was quickly eaten and admired, and conversation ceased once the entrées came out (which is always a good sign when people are too busy eating to talk). My food arrived so hot I had to wait a couple of minutes before eating it! I tried (and shared) one of the new seasonal dinners, but I usually get the Smokehouse cheeseburger with fries or the Hickory Bourbon chicken (nom). The salad bar is also a favorite, and has always been well-stocked and clean when I've eaten here. I asked my picky 10-year-old what she liked about RT and she said "Good food!" which is indeed high praise! Shout-out to Richard the manager, who just stopped by our table to see how dinner was and thank us for coming in. I asked him about the intriguing "Stay tuned..." written on one of the menu boards and he told me about a couple of programs they'll be doing within our local community (one includes SCHOOLS!!) that I will definitely be returning to support! Hence the review, because I love companies who excel at service, appreciate their customers, and engage with...
Read moreCroutons were not crunching enough But Tristan made it better! He used his easy bake oven (that was secured in his easy bake oven holster) to satisfy my crunch. He sat me in a corner booth and proceeded to tell me how much of a trouble maker I was since that is where trouble makers go. He’s not wrong He also has a sixth sense. He came to fill up my tea as soon as I finished it! WOW! How’d he know?!?!? I continued to drink my tea but had to wave him down because it was not sweet enough. He stuck his finger in it and told me to try it now. I did It was great! He eventually came with the plate and somehow he managed to balance the plate on his head with two other plates in his hands. I believe he worked at a circus in his past life. He asked me how my bread was and I told him it wasn’t as good as olive garden’s. So he door-dashed olive gardens bread for me. What a gentleman!!! He came back to ask if we saved room for deserts! Lol!! Anyways I asked what they had and I ordered the cookie skillet. He whipped out his easy bake oven and got to baking. It was like a 5 star Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you. He had his little whisk attached to his hip and whipped it out like an old cowboy. When he finished the desert (haha) was fresh and hot out of the oven. While eating my desert (haha) we had a conversation about dragon ball z. We compared animation and Pokémon cards. He knows his stuff! Then we sat criss cross apple sauce on the booth and he showed me what dragon balls z was all about. How did I live without it?!?! It’s amazing just like him! He’s great! Anyways the restaurant sucks. 3/5 but Tristan gets a 5/5!!! And a special place...
