Based on my experience here, I do not recommend purchasing anything you may need to return. I returned a stainless steel Merten & Storck pan with residue stuck to the pan after a few uses. I followed recommended stainless directions to use ample oil and allow it to heat, but everything (including the oil!) stuck to the bottom on medium heat. The first egg I cooked was unflippable due to sticking and I came away with half an egg. The staff were extremely condescending and at first refused to accept it “due to the way it looked,” then ultimately begrudgingly gave me store credit, but the whole time gave me condescending directions on how to cook, including using oil when cooking and soaking with dish soap. They would not listen when I stated I had done everything correctly and refused to accept that they could be selling a pan that does not work well. Mind you, I am an adult in my 30’s (but look young), and this is not my first stainless pot or pan. Perhaps other pans by this company are not as bad as this one was, but they only considered I was using this pan grossly incorrectly. I am well aware the customer is not always right, but refusing to listen to the customer is completely unacceptable. I also think they should reconsider their stringent return policy if they wish to retain customers, others have left similar reviews lamenting their subpar return policy. I purchased this pan during the Golden Unicorn time period using a coupon that covered half the cost, and normally I get excited to go purchase things there, but I likely will not return to this store considering the way the staff treats...

I've attempted to use World Market's online pickup service three times in the past three months, and each experience has been more disappointing than the last. Here's why I suggest steering clear of it:
Persistent Order Cancellations: Each order I've placed has been inexplicably canceled. It's hard to understand how a service can consistently fail to fulfill orders.
Lack of Effort in Locating Products: On one occasion, I ordered four large seat cushions, only for the order to be canceled. These aren't small items that can just be overlooked or go missing. This incident clearly indicates a lack of effort at the store level in fulfilling online orders.
Incredibly Slow Order Processing: The speed at which they process orders is unacceptable. Products have sold out before my orders were even looked at, reflecting a significant inefficiency in their system.
Poor Customer Service: My latest experience highlighted their dismal customer service. After driving over an hour and waiting 6 hours post-order, I was met with apathy and repetitive excuses. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, just a bland "it's not ready yet" and "you'll get a confirmation."

I bought a personal item and was unsatisfied with the marketing of said item. I was told since it was opened, I could get no refund.
I bought a lip balm (manager can probably guess who is writing this review now :) but it was a LIPSTICK. $10 for an item I’ll never use? Nope.
On the back of the receipt it said nothing about not being able to return items personal items, whether opened or not. I pointed this out multiple times.
She finally gave me store credit after some back and forth. This was after I spent $40 MORE dollars from that initial visit. I’m obviously not trying to scam this store.
I will use the $10 gift card but will definitely think twice about buying much there because it seems returns are not an easy feat.
I am not a criminal and don’t appreciate being treated like one. I spend my hard earned money on good products, if a product isn’t what I like I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT.
