I accidentally placed an order at this restaurant. I do not live near this location, but they have the exact same name as the restaurant I was trying to order from. I called and asked if I could cancel the order. The guy said "we made the food already." I explained again that I placed the order at the wrong location and have no way of picking up the order as I live in a completely different state, so I'd like a refund. The guy said "how is that our fault? You should be more careful when placing orders." Then said he couldn't process the refund until "the end of the day" because "the system won't allow him to." I asked him if he'll process the refund. Then he hung up on me. I called back, same song and dance.
The apathy and rudeness demonstrated in the customer service of this restaurant is appalling. Never have I ever requested an order cancellation from a restaurant and had it refused. Yes, I placed the order at the wrong location, but the names are IDENTICAL on Google and I was at work--mistakes happen. I also don't know why this restaurant is treating the food being made as a problem. Give it to another customer, one of your staff, a houseless person -- this is an easily solvable problem, and I should not pay for a product I did not receive and have no way of receiving. If I do not receive the refund by tomorrow as the employee I spoke with confirmed on the 2nd phone call that he would do, I will call my bank and...
Read moreWonderful. Just wonderful. I walked in at 2 pm with my blood sugar starting to crash because I hadn’t eaten anything since the night before. Without mentioning what was about to be a medical emergency, I had a nice, decent size, fresh salad with a good ginger dressing at 2:06. By 2:13 I had a really tasty fried sweet potato roll. By 2:17 pm, I had a hot, tasty shrimp hibachi plate.
I ordered the lunch portion and it was still a nice amount of food. That’s becoming rare in Asheville. On top of that, the servers were nice! They actually smiled. If you’re from Asheville, you know how far and few between that happens. This is a small little strip mall restaurant that’s worth driving from Asheville for, if for no other reason you can guarantee you walk in happy and walk out just as happy, if not happier.
Plus the music was pleasant coffee house.

Read moreWe followed one of the owners here from a previous chef position in a Hibachi style restaurant. He always cooked my wife’s food to perfection and made us laugh. The portions here are awesome for today’s prices.
We ordered steak, filet mignon of course, and teriyaki chicken that they made the sauce in house. Just Amazing! I had calamari with the sweet chili sauce, again made in house, and I got to meet the guy that made it, one of the amazing owners! The sauce is a great take on what I had to say was sweet and sour spicy style!
These guys will not disappoint you and the wait staff are on it, being exactly what you would want, courteous and attentive! They even bagged up our to go for us!
August, keep up the great work and we will be there after the Monday Grand Opening to help support your restaurant!
