I decided to go to Applebee’s with my daughter my grandson on a Sunday afternoon just to get some lunch… walking into Applebee’s, the atmosphere, was very somber like, very depressing, dark and gloomy… we were immediately greeted, and I cannot remember the lady’s name, but she was nice and she set us down at our booth… everyone knows when you go out to eat with a toddler nine times out 10 soon as you sit down, they’re gonna ask to go to the potty lol.. so as entering the restroom, there’s only two stalls one of them is out of order, and that’s fine cause I know that happens from time to time, but the sad thing is, you can tell that that bathroom has not been cleaned all day. There was no paper towels., and the paper towels that they did have was on the floor garbage was full. The sink was wet and nasty. The mirror was spotty and gross…. So with that being said, we made our way back to our table…. Our server comes to greet us. Apparently she has bad knees, so she decided to bend down at her table to take the order which is fine once again I understand being on your feet all the time it does take a lot out of you… we put in our drink order, when our drinks come back, they tasted very carbonated very flat. They did not taste like how they were supposed to taste. Would you let me know that no one is checking to see if it needs to be changed… as I looked over to my right, where I was sitting at I saw the servers laying across the table playing on their phone texting… and yes, they may have been on a break. I don’t know but as a customer that doesn’t look good when you see that so I felt like they should’ve took that elsewhere… the whole purpose of us coming to Applebee’s on Sunday was we was wanting they’re bone and wings cause I do like they’re bone in wings… our server, proceeded to let us know that there was no wings left because the night before there was an order of 30 of them.. so we nonchalantly said OK and place our order what we got me and my daughter was the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries.. we also ordered a house salad… now the house salad mainly contained of lettuce… there was hardly no cheese no tomatoes, no cucumbers a handful of croutons, but it was mainly just lettuce. The dressing was very watered down. We ordered ranch by the way… so I was a little upset with that… I will say my grandson’s food. It came out really well which we order for him with the chicken tenders and fries the fries refresh the chicken tenders was actually really good… when they finally brought me and my daughter’s food the sandwich and the fries… first off let me say they need to make changes on the sandwich and this is why… for one the chicken breast on the sandwich was so thick and it was dry… on top of that you can tell that they double breaded the chicken, and now only that, but there were still some parts of the breading that wasn’t cooked… the bacon was burnt… and the ranch was very runny on the sandwich. I was not at all pleased.. The waitress did not ask us how our meal was did not ask us if we needed a refill on our drinks but yet to proceed to come by to let us know that she was 29 years old with no kids and she was happy about that. she proceeded to let us know about her life instead of doing her job and I get it. You talk to the customers so they feel a little bit more comfortable or what not but at the same time you still need to ask us if we would like a refill on our drinks or if everything taste OK and that she did not…. I don’t know if it was the fact that it was 2 o’clock in the afternoon and this is why service was horrible. The food wasn’t good…. but honestly, that’s not the case cause I’ve been there before to eat dinner and still the food wasn’t the best to where I sat back there where the kitchen is and saw them drop food and pick it up to put it on people’s plate why I decide to come back there again everybody deserves a second chance. But I do know this is the last time I will be eating at...
Read moreWhat an atrocious feeling it was, to feel like I wasn't allowed to eat here. I've been here before, and never experienced this type of service. For a Friday afternoon during happy hour, it was especially slow. I sat at the bar, along with about 4-5 other customers. I was sitting by myself, which happens to be one of my guilty pleasures... so I don't mind. When I sat at the bar, it was a few minutes shy of 4pm. JESSICA M. was unfortunately the bartender on duty at the time. It took 18 long minutes for this "lovely" specimen of a "human being" to even serve me, and it was only because I asked, "when you get a chance, can I order a glass of white wine from you?"... didn't help, that when I asked her, she didn't even look me in the eye and cluelessly asked "what kind ofwhite wine you want?!" What upsets me the most is, 1)bar and restaurant were encredibly slow. 2)JESSICA M. Went to every other customer to ask if they needed anything (which by first glance they were fully served, and had full drinks so they clearly didn't need her services), before she even glanced at me. She made drinks for customers that didn't request them, she ran food to tables that weren't hers (I watched her), she cleared the entire bars plates, without having to, she re-topped off draft beers that didn't need topping off, kept asking other customers if they needed anything when they didn't need anything.... but a brand new customer, that's been waiting 18 minutes, not even a glance. Which brings me to this, racism. I was the only Latina at the bar, and I was treated worse than a roach. I've never pulled the race card, but I've also in 36 years of my life have I ever been treated so poorly 😢. I broke out in tears when I left, never understood racism until now. I felt like I was in a time capsule on a voyage to the 1940s. It's incredible how in 2022, you still get treated indifferently because the color of your skin! How disgusting. My heart, soul, and spirit are completely saddened by JESSICA M.'s ATTEMPT AT BELITTLING ME FOR THE COLOR OF MY SKIN! I will be reaching out to corporate, unapologetically. I hope you sleep better at night JESSICA M., BTW get...
Read moreI am a doordasher. Today, When I first arrived an older gentlemen in all black let me know where to go to wait for doordash pickup. He was very kind and this bad review is not in any way to reflect him. There weren't very many tables filled they were a little on the slow side but its sunday night so it's understandable. At the to go delivery section 2 servers - one waiter and one waitress pretended I wasnt there and were arguing about which of the two of them messed up a tables orders and checks. loud enough so the customers at the table closeby could hear them. They pretended me and the other delivery driver were not physically standing there, even shoulder checked us as they went passed. Not once in the 15 minutes I was there did anyone ask me who I was picking up for or anything until after I had dropped the order due to the inability to get assistance from the employees. That's when the woman in charge of doordashers asked me whom I was picking up for I let her know I'm sorry but I already dropped the order I've been here for 15 minutes and I dont deserve to be ignored or trampled on intentionally. I know when I'm not welcome. she screamed at me to tell her whom I was picking up for I gave her the name on the order that I had dropped and she screamed at me to take it. I told her I couldnt someone else will have to pick it up and that I wouldnt be back to that location. Ever. Doordashers, are also customers. When I'm not doordashing my family enjoys to go out to eat every once in a while. we tip rather well. We normally tip the amount of our check and r a family of five that's over $100 check easy. that's a decent tip. Before today I've never had a bad expierience.... today it was downright awful. Treating delivery drivers like scum is no wayto behave maintain or gain customers. I suggest you look up to where your help comes from and reevaluate the way team members treat each other, the way to treat delivery contractors, potential customers, and human life. Thank you older gentleman whom was working tonight. I wish the other team members were...
